4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
sweet from the Vietnamese coffee with a sublime aftertaste rolling from roasted coffee/milk chocolate to peanut butter. Doesn’t open as well as the others, hence the lowball score of "only" 4.5 :)

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewery. Dark brown pour with a light brown head. Peanut aromas. Peanut brittle leads to dark roasted malts and expresso notes. Plenty of caramel here.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at AleSmith, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma screams peanut butter, drowning out everything else. Flavour is similar, with loads of peanut butter, which drowns out the roast and coffee. The big body is still present, but the flavour is all peanut butter. Awesome rendition of Speedway.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Alesmith for Speedway Grand Prix. Inky pour, nice lacing. Nose is ridiculous Reese’s peanut butter cup. Even more akin to Reese’s Pieces bag. Taste is the same- just like chomping down on a bag of Reese’s Pieces at the movie theater. Not my style but my wife loved it. Successful iteration, though too one note for me.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at alesmith... Dark cola stout hue, lesser intense edges and topped with a light beige head...aroma of chocolate and fudge and boozy phenols. light peanut butter backing but not as apparent as the flavor. More Reese’s-esque actually.. Peanut butter, cocoa, and light roast. Sweet and syrupy. Medium bodied with a bit of an astringent backend. Little warming again.
