3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Black, foamy, brown head. Alcohol overpowers nose, some coffee. Medium bitter and sweet. Dry afterfeel, thick, carbonation on rhe lower side, but suits this beer. Warming. Alcohol, roasted malt, coffee, hint of red fruit, dark chocolate aroma. Needs to be served quite warm! Too much alcohol, but good.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
75cl bottle, shared with Mathieu87.
APPEARANCE: pitch black beer, nice stable beige head.
NOSE: coffee, chocolate, alcohol.
TASTE: coffee, bitter, chocolate.
Was rather disappointed about this beer in general. I generally love Imperials Stouts, but thought this would be more...

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml bottle bought at Quality Liquor in Waukesha. Pours jet black with a thick and rich toast brown head resembling melted ice cream. Coffee hits the palate and transitions into dark molasses, raisins and I taste overripe peaches. Finish is dry and the alcohol is balanced. You know your drinking a big beer but it's not overpowering. Excellent RIS that is a top 5 but not one of my top 3 imperial stouts.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Extremely dark brown with medium small brown head. Aroma roasted malt, coffee, caramel. Full body. Not really a lot of alcohol. Roasted malt flavors, chocolate and coffee, somewhat sweet. Rich and intense. Pretty much exactly as expected and done very well.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pitch black pour. Stout the way stout is supposed to be. Chocolate, roasty malt and coffee. Not sure I can say I pick out the added coffee, but a great beer. Great balance and drink ability for the high abv.

4.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours an awesome pitchblack with slowly fading beige, purple even head. Coffee and bitter chocolate, red fruits in the nose. Can?t wait to dive in! Oh man, boom!! Explosion of flavors, sweet chocolate, espresso, fruits, bourbon whiskey and a lovely bitter. Nice warm alcohol feeling going down the throat. Thick full creamy mouthfeel. This is one amazing strong stout. From a trade with Jimsal27, thanks for this one and might have to hit you up for more of these.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Big mouthful of flavour to match the big chocolate/coffee nose. Deep black with a decent foamy head. Might have been a little too sweet for me at the end of the all of it, but a cracking good beer. This might be regarded as one of the best beers in the world, and it sets a really high bar, and woe betide the pretenders

Lots of coffee on nose. Was surprised by how balanced this was. Mellow coffee and chocolate notes with a pleasant smooth finish. Alcohol was hidden really well. So good
