4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
As far as my stout contest this weekend, Speedway wins by about a full car length. If I took the best of @foundersbrewing #kbs and @bellsbrewery #expeditionstout #speedwaystout is the answer! This beer is such a beauty from initial pour and appearance to the pleasant aroma of chocolate cherries covered in smoke to the euphoric creamy vanilla coffee char taste. Itís to believe this stout is 12% now I need to try BA Speedway Stout and Dark Lord.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark almost Black. Head is Brown, thick and almost never vanishing. Nose is dark Dryed fruits raisin and liqurice. Rosted malt very dominant. Taste is rich some metal and very sweet. Creamy mouthfeel warming finish. Silght taste of alcohol and long residual stickyness in the mouth. Awesome but holy god 12% alc. That bottle is gonna kill me...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Smells like booze, chocolate, and soy sauce. Very low carbonation. Mouthfeel is semi-creamy and semi-foamy. Taste is alcohol, coffee with cream, some caramel, and dark chocolate. In that order. Aftertaste is long length. Starts off with alcohol taste and warmth. The alcohol taste goes away before the warmth does. After about ten seconds, the taste transitions from alcohol to coffee and dark chocolate.

Strong....very very strong. It's 12%. It's chocolatey and continues on into a soft, dark caramel finish.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20
Poured from a year and a half old bottle. Looks great in a glass. Nice tanned head.
Smell - not that strong smelling. I am picking up a little bit of alcohol, some dark fruit, subtle coffee, not much to be honest.
Taste - itís a huge stout. The coffee has faded a bit, Iím actually a bit dissapointed in this. The alcohol does come through a lot. Not the smoothest to drink, and honestly not one of my favourite stouts.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Jet black pour with an espresso colored, single finger head. Aroma is sweet and chocolate like. Aroma is unfortunately pretty faint. Creamy mouth. Lots of chocolate. Slight alcohol burn. Lots of bitter coffee on the finish. For 12% this is highly drinkable. Pretty unassuming, but this is a very tasty stout. Lace present.
