4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This pours an opaque black, with a consistency of thick oil. Thereís a thin dark tan head that quickly fades. The aroma is of coffee and dark chocolate. This has a great flavor of bitter coffee balanced with bittersweet chocolate with just a hint of alcohol (which is pretty good considering the ABV of this beast). Long bitter finish, and very thick mouthfeel. The only two downsides I see are price (at $13 a bomber) and availability... but I still want to cellar some of these.

Pours pitch black, with a brown head beautiful!
The aroma is roasted with lots of coffee.
Great mouthfeel, and surprisingly easy to drink for a 12% imp stout!

Pours black with a tan head and a wonderful aroma of coffee. Body is a perfect balance of coffee, sweetness, roast and tart. Goes down smoother than any 12% stout.

Perfect body. Medium roast coffee beans. Bitter cocoa, white chocolate, some mint, marshmallow. Some creamy lactose. Perfect balance with a hint of earthy hops. Great, great stout !! Alcohol well hidden.

Has a nice smell of coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, burnt sugar, roasted malts and a little smoky. Pours black with a thick brown head. The taste is strong of coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa beans and burnt sugar. The mouthfeel is awesome. Very thick and creamy.

One of my top 3 non bourbon stouts. Huge roasted coffe nose and dark roast coffee dominates the flavor. I pretty much know I will like an imp stout when I pour it and it is pitch black and has a creamy looking toasted brown/mocha color head. If you like coffee imp stouts this is a must try!

Le nez est plus sucré, caramel que café. Je dénote une légère odeur de jus de pomme brute. Le goût est est sucré, acidulé et enveloppant. La finale est douce, sucrée et assez persistante. A essayer, mais je suis un peu déçu...

Loads of coffee flavor, a little licorice,a slight hint of chocolate. The high alcohol content isnít hidden at all, this is a boozy beer. Surprisingly not bitter for all the coffee flavor. Not overly sweet either. Very good.

A bottle a little over a year old. Immense flavour richness, loads of dried fruits and dark chocolate, a hint of sweetness and a good long note of coffee at the backend.
