Speedway Stout is a HUGE Imperial Stout, with pounds and pounds of coffee added during conditioning for a little extra kick! This is a limited-edition Formula and it'll definitely get you racing! It is available in 750 ml. champagne bottles. Appearance: Jet Black, with a toast-brown head. Flavor: Starts with a strong coffee and dark chocolate sensation, then fades to a multitude of toasty, roasty and caramelly flavors. Finishes with a nice fullness but dry enough not to be cloying. Aroma: COFFEE! And some other stuff. And coffee. Mouthfeel (body/texture): Velvety smooth texture. Clean and crisp, full-bodied. Warmth from the high alcohol content lightens up the feel a bit. Still, you won't fool your taste buds -- this beer is HUGE!

Thanks to the efforts of Adam at Platinum Cellars we are now able to experience some of the delightful beers that we could only dream of. Cost is irrelevant even though there is a serious kick to the kredit kard every time I visit. I enjoyed this with Dave and Steve, my two mates who now bow their heads and admit tht they too, are beer nerds. This was our last beer of the night where there were many great beers supped before this. But still a beautiful beer. Great coffee aromas with roasted malt and caramel. Thick as a triple espresso with a similarly coloured crema. A delighful blend of coffee flavours and well hopped bittereness being supported by a great malt roastiness. A fantastic nightcap.

750 ml bottle from The Local Pub, Athens Greece. Pitch black color with a nice thin brown head. Aromas of coffee, wood, chocolate, oak, liquorice, berries. Phenomenal taste, sweet from the malts and bitter from the coffee and roasted. Bitter aftertaste, long. Full body with low carbonation.

Pours very dark black with a thick foamy head that dissipates fairly quickly. Very tiny bubbles almost like a nitro beer. When cold not much aroma and creamy vanilla up front followed by bittersweet chocolate. As it warms you get more milk chocolate aroma and flavor, with a very mild coffee background. Light on palate and warming due to alcohol content. Very smooth and balanced. Quite a nice Imperial Stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jet black with foamy brown head. Syrupy and smooth. The coffee shows up later in the sip and is well balanced. Chocolate aftertaste. Palate coating. Warming. Full bodied but goes down nicely.

Black pour, khaki head, deep rich aroma of roasted coffee and caramel. Thick and creamy, this brew flows over my tongue like a massive booze train, coming around the curves with a wallop of warm like nobodies business! There is no crisp to this, but a hot, comforting hug filled with coffee and nutty goodness. Velvety and black made me think to braise my dinner for this evening with it. Pork chops are to die for and the imperial stout to go with it made for the best meal of the month! I’m most definitely a fan!

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Dave! Pours black-brown with a frothy tan head. Well roasted malts in the nose, baking cocoa, burnt wood, soft cocoa. Medium to big sweet flavor with well rounded dark malt character, some torched earth bitterness, bittersweet cocoa. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with bittersweet chocolate, burnt wood, coffee grounds. Solid, rich, well rounded.

This dark black beer has a creamy head. Strong espresso aromas with a boozy punch. It has a bold coffee flavor but is easier drinking than you would expect. We took small glasses and layered crumbled chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream and poured this beer over the top. Amazing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice stout. Pours a very thick black sub a brown head. Huge coffee smell, with some cocoa. Taste is more coffee then most, with a bit of vanilla. Paired with a ice cream cookie beer Sunday, cuts out a bit of the coffee. Had in the bottle.

bottleshare thanks to Beechner224. Aroma is roasty and not much else. Pour is pitch black with a small light brown head. Taste is a light coffee with some chocolate. Never would have guessed there was coffee if it wasn’t on the label.

Bottle share thanks to beechner224. Pours a deep dark nearly black with large light brown head. Big roasty aroma, chocolate malt, semisweet, light boozy note. Lots of roast in the flavor as well, chocolatey, semisweet, malty.
