COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This refreshing, light-golden Extra Pale Ale embodies drinkability. AleSmith X pushes the limits by offering a level of flavor not often found in this classic style. Fresh American hops are abundant but carefully balanced by a light, crisp body and smooth bitterness. Notes of citrus and pine combine with a delicate malt sweetness to create a flavorful drinking experience.

Botella de 66 cl en el lúpulo en junio de 2013. bastante buena y refrescante, con aromas y sabores afrutados y florales bastante claros. Muy interesante y recomendable para repetir. Cuerpo ligero con 5.25 vol que se bebe bien.

On tap @ Beer Temple, sample size. Hazy golden color. Dense white head leaving lacerings. Aroma’s: fruity, citrus, with retronasal some grain, a bit (old) malty sweet). Flavor is mild bitter, light citrus sour, some grainy sweetness. Light bodied. Finishes with some caramel, somewhat dry, rather bitter. Perhaps this wasn’t too fresh, but decent enough.

Bottle from Erzbierschof Zurich. A very smooth and drinkable pale ale indeed. Spring-like aroma hops give this beer a fresh feeling, carbonation and malts are matching. Pines, some citrus. Medium-bodied, but never boring. Keeps its thing throughout. This beer does literally nothing wrong, yet it fails to excite me. It is very, very solid though.

Draught @ Sunswick 35/35. Slightly cloudy pale yellow, with small whitish foamy head, faint citrus aroma, medium carbonation, vanilla and sweetish citrus taste, thin body, medium bitter finish. Very smooth and drinkable.

5.25%ABV.   Poured out gold.  6ºSRM. Nose has ton of pale malt sweet. Mouthfeel is soapy. Palate is pale malt body, finishes off sweet.  Hops are pine, grapefruit peel and lemon peel. Finish is clean.  The hop finish is unique where it comes on in the middle, blooms to full bitter, then regresses into a fresh lemon experience (oily, bitter, spicy and tingly).

Pours straw color. White tight head. Mild fruity fruits on the nose, light malt. Caramel malt aroma, some fruityness. Some citrus. Stuffed nose, so probably not optimal rating conditions.

Nice aroma when given proper glass to channel smells. Great pale cloudy color with white lace head. Complex light flavor of very citrus hops. Slightly sharp finish. Ok flavor.

Echon (262) - Århus, DENMARK - JAN 16, 2016
Pale amber body with a white head.
Aroma and flavour present a rich hoppy character on top of a solid, slightly caramelly, malt base. Moderate sweetness and medium/heavy bitterness. Bitter, hoppy finish.
Medium body with average carbonation.

Fresh, tasty and very drinkable.

Strong sweet grain aroma. Cloudy golden color with a medium airy white head. Light sweet beginning that gets bitter in the finish.

Pours a very clean golden color, great carbonation present and a very low but very dense off white head that says around during the session. Aroma has a very smooth fresh citrus orange and touch of pine with a late noble hoppy character. Flavor starts with a sweet orange grainy presence but then transitions into light pine notes with a touch of a grassy finish. Body is light/modest in feeling with a slight sharpness from the fine carbonation. Overall a really good example of the American pale style.

Tap at Craft Heads. Clear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates fairly quickly. Big citrus nose with white grapefruit, lemon, and iyokan dominating. Average carbonation with a medium to light body. Bitter and fruity on the palate with lots of citrus coming through the finish. The finish leaves bitter pithy citrus notes lingering.
