This refreshing, light-golden Extra Pale Ale embodies drinkability. AleSmith X pushes the limits by offering a level of flavor not often found in this classic style. Fresh American hops are abundant but carefully balanced by a light, crisp body and smooth bitterness. Notes of citrus and pine combine with a delicate malt sweetness to create a flavorful drinking experience.

Caramel and honey aromas, light earthy hop presence. Hazy orange with a mostly fading white head. Mostly dry, flavors of tangerine, light cereal. Light-medium bodied.

Lilly and honey nose, subtle clay hints. Clear amber, medium head. Lillies, dry. Light body, easy carbonation. More of a session IPA than an APA. Tasty, but lacks a malt balance.

Nicely done and excellently balanced. Lots of pine and citrus and a touch of amaretto. Pours golden with great head and lacing. Good malt backbone. Very well done, and excellent drinakability. Too bad this is so rare in my usual stomping grounds - I’d drink this by the pitcher. Tap at blind tiger.

Tap at new bohemia in northeast. Gold with small white head and good lacing. Sweet grain aroma. Light hoppiness. Sweet taste. Lager and ipa combination feel to it. Clean. Easy to drink without being super weak. A well done beer from a great brewery.

Tap at New Bohemia in their bumped pint glass. Lighter golden color with a minor white head and lace. Aroma has elements citrus and pine with grapefruit coming to mind. Taste is very smooth with a nice balance of bitterness, citrus, and sweetness. Very crisp and easy to drink. Almost like a session ale but with a much better finish and mouthfeel. Little bit of an oily finish and pine aftertaste. Another very enjoyable effort from this brewery.

It’s like a lager wrapped inside an APA. Very well balanced with fresh citrus hops leaping out of a bomber, followed by sweet malt and a core of lemony refreshment. Overall, a standout in a category hard to stand out in.

Clear pale color with tiny white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Taste is medium bitter. Average carbonation turning to pleasant bitter finish. Very nice American pale ale.

Clear golden, small white head. Caramely aroma, piney hops and peach coming through. Similar flavour, pine and grapefruit, good and slightly rough bitterness. Juicy at first but then more and more dry. Light body, almost a little watery. Still good.

Bottle, 5.25%. Teaish hop aroma, a little old hops, but smells good. Almost clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour has a teaish hop note, grassy with a bready finish. Clean enough and actually slightly watery. But not bad at all.
