COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This refreshing, light-golden Extra Pale Ale embodies drinkability. AleSmith X pushes the limits by offering a level of flavor not often found in this classic style. Fresh American hops are abundant but carefully balanced by a light, crisp body and smooth bitterness. Notes of citrus and pine combine with a delicate malt sweetness to create a flavorful drinking experience.

opalescent pale yellow colour, huge white head; aroma of citruses, pine and floral-honey notes; taste is the same; very pleasant APA

Appearance looks more like a lager than a pale. Solid all the way around though especially the very subtle honey flavors that then grows nicely bitter with a hoppy finish.

Bottle from Gonzo Beer, Coventry. Golden colour, thick white head. Gosh these American pints are big. Aroma a has tropical fruit, citrus and pine. Taste is slightly sweet and has a bitter finish. To be honest, it got a bit too much by the end.

650 ml bottle @ Cardinal. Clear golden body with a medium sized white head. Nice, easy and refreshing aroma with citric fruit, some tropical fruit, light malt and hint of pine. Flavor has lots of fruit like aroma, some malt and decent bitterness. Balanced body and OK aftertaste. Nice and refreshing, might have some more bitterness, maybe a bit old?

Pours with a thick white head atop a straw yellow body. Deceivingly full bodied - light in flavour & bitterness at first but then you notice why with the malt backbone coming through. This is not a complex ale - it is very simple but what it does, it does very well. Hop flavour is piney with some citrus & smooth maltiness. Rated by BrewTom

Bottle. Pretty light color here, golden and hazy, with a rollicking head of sticky white foam. Drinks with a fairly light palate, a sticky, piney consistency, and a definite pine cone bite. Overall light and fruity. (#5939, 3/3/2015)

Couleur dorée translucide avec un col blanc. Aromes de caramel, herbe, céréales, agrumes. Correct, un peu décu de cette bière!

Tap at brewery. Pours extra clear yellow/gold with creamy white head. Aroma is cereal and pale malts, floral and grassy hops, and some citrus. Flavor is clean malt profile with smooth, medium hop bitterness and faint grapefruit notes. Light/medium body and medium carbonation.

Amerikanske craft brewers trår sjelden feil i denne stilarten. Lekker.

Draft pour at special brews, golden pour, hop aroma, lot of bite on this beer. Haven’t had it yet and now I did, enough said.
