COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This refreshing, light-golden Extra Pale Ale embodies drinkability. AleSmith X pushes the limits by offering a level of flavor not often found in this classic style. Fresh American hops are abundant but carefully balanced by a light, crisp body and smooth bitterness. Notes of citrus and pine combine with a delicate malt sweetness to create a flavorful drinking experience.

Very tasty. Surprisingly the malts were first detected in the aroma. The color was a clear golden with an enormous head. Highly carbonated nature that made this crisp and somewhat dry. There was a great balance of flavors with a smooth hops bitterness that did not overwhelm. Floral more than piney. Malts formed a good foundation that added a cereal element to the experience. This would be a good go-to beer on any occassion.

650 ml bottled 02/13/15 from Ammersin Centerstore, shared at RB Tasting Linz.
Golden-amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of citrus, grass, pine, yellow fruits, some cheese, sweet bread.
Tastes of grapefruit, pine, grass, stome fruits, candy.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, quite dry, zesty, piney, grassy, a bit fruity.

Nice one, although I was expecting a bit more. The nose is interesting, with slightly unusual notes, taste is a bit light, but still pleasant. Overall easy and refreshing APA, but nothing special.

On tap at Blind Pig. Pours golden with a fizzy white head. Aroma is of hops, bubblegum, and grass. Taste is of sweet hops, grass, wheat, and bready malt. Lingering grassy hop taste. Mouthfeel is soapy and very carbonated. Body is medium. Goes down very easy, and it’s tasty. I could drink a few of these.
