johnyvt (157), West Hollywood, California, USA Dec 8, 2004 Updated: Feb 27, 2005 Hazy, almost hefeweizen-like color. Light mouthfeel with very light carbonation. Silky smooth taste is counterbalanced by the sourness of lemon and grass, along with a little bit of hop bitterness. I’d prefer this to be a little stronger, but it’s certainly one of the best PAs I’ve tried. A great session beer.
DuffMan (2139), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Dec 1, 2008 On tap at the Yardhouse in San Diego. Hazy golden orange, big thick white cap. Massive citrus grapefruit and resinous hop aroma and flavour. Medium bodied. Long dry finish. Very nice. GMCC2181 (504), Bear, Delaware, USA Oct 28, 2008 Bottle shared by wolf. Light yellow in color, small head. Aroma of light hops. Taste is sweet pine hops with a very light texture. Clean and crisp. It is like a thined out version of their IPA. Super easy to drink. Probably the best APA out there. Swolf3 (148), Elkton, Maryland, USA Oct 27, 2008 Bottle From Hophead22. Poured a light golden yellow with nice big white head. Aroma is lemon, grass, and pine. Taste is very clean and crisp, with pine, citrus, hops, pine, and lemon. Finish is very smooth and east to drink. A nice summer time brew. another nice brew from Alesmith. changeup45 (608), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 12, 2008 From Hi-Time Wine Cellars. This looked a lot lighter than I was expecting, pouring a light golden color. A moderate sized head settles to a thin layer with some spotty lacing. The aroma is mostly floral hops with some citrus. The flavor is nicely hopped, crisp bitter hops, citrus and pine notes with doughy malts. Very easy drinking without sacraficing flavor. Good beer. EricE (293), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Oct 12, 2008 Hazy pale yellow with lots of bubbles. A thin fluffy white head on top. Lots of fruity hops on the aroma. Citrus and grapefruit. Also a fair amount of yeast in the aroma. Bitter malt flavor with a strong hop character. Lots of citrus and floral notes. Crisp and easy to drink. Very good.
