22 oz bomber. Foamy head, good retention, tons of lacing. Aroma is light, mostly hops. Very thin on the palate and somewhat lacking in flavor and complexity. A decent beer, but compared to other AleSmith beers it was disappointing.

Another great AleSmith, golden color with huge head that lasts forever and laces almost all of a pint glass, smells of piney hops, citrus and baked biscuits, insanely refreshing, finishes clean with a bit of lingering citrus and malt. Perfect beer for a baseball game, when I’m in charge this will be on tap at evvery park.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2006 Great pale ale. Big, lasting head. Hoppy aroma (more than just cascades), smooth, no aftertaste, and very easy drinking. A pleasure. I prefer this over the Stone any day.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 leninthedesert (116) - Nevada, USA - MAR 23, 2009
If you can imagine a lighter-smoother version of a robust, fine Pale Ale, but sacrifice none of the flavor, depth of character or drinking experience...you’d be left with X.
Pours light golden and clear. Flavor is citrus and sweet-malt. Finishes slightly bitter, sweet and very tingly-clean!
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 anaheim1983 (111) - Anaheim, California, USA - JUN 12, 2006
What can I say the description of this beer is exact...power of suggestion I guess Hops balanced by a gentle sweetness, giving an almost sweet-and-sour effect. Appearance: Light golden color, and a nice white head, with good retention when properly served. Flavor: Starts off with almost tingling flavors of citrus and pine, balanced by a nice malty sweetness, then fades to a dry finish with a lingering hoppiness. Aroma: Strong lemony-citrusy character, with sweet malt and pine in the background. Mouthfeel (body/texture): Smooth, light-bodied.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 HopMasterFlex (108) - Carlsbad, California, USA - FEB 8, 2011
This is pale ale royalty. It pours a crisp gold with a light head. More hops than you would expect on the nose and taste. Has some malts that balance it and slight taste of pear. Excellent beer very pleasing to the senses.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 BeanDip (107) - Florida, USA - OCT 11, 2003
Yellow/honey colored with a white, tight bubbled, moderately rocky head. Nicely lacing. Big citrus nose of grapefruit and lemon. Crisp and zingy. Nicely hopped - fade out at the end leaving clean citrus in wake. If I want citrus hops, I will still reach for a Brutal Bitter, but this baby could ebcome a regular if it were easily available.

Tap at Alesmith.
Pours nice golden yellow with a small 1 finger head. Smell is light citrus hops, sweet malt and little bit of a fresh lemon. Taste is lively for a pale ale. Citrus hops, lemon sweet caramel malt and little bit of biscuit. Texture was smooth with a light carbonation. Not bad.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Maxamillion (103) - Glendora, California, USA - DEC 11, 2005
cloudy amber color. Lots of lemongrass in aroma with touch of pine. Starts off with a hoppy and slightly bitter kick which fades to a slightly sweet finish. Overall and nice light pale ale. not my favorite though of the alesmith lineup but still a good beer.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2010 This was an awesome pale ale. Citrus, hops, spices, pine... very nice complex flavor and aroma. Lots of carbonation and head and a great finish. Bravo to AleSmith once again.
