RCL (942), Boston, Massachusetts, USA Feb 23, 2007 One beautiful looking beer. Aroma and flavor have a strong lemon-herb tea character. Nice effort from Alesmith again.
arondee (56), USA Jun 21, 2008 I tried to pour this carefully but ended up with a huge white fluffy head. I ended up with something that looked more like a Yellow Ice Cream float than a beer. It’s got a great sweet, citrus orange peel smell. The first taste was delicious. The hops are present but the beer is not all that bitter. It’s more of a sweet/slightly bitter APA with great carbonation. I could drink this all day, I wish I had gotten a second :) BlackDonald (610), On a beer trip all over the USA, California, USA Jun 19, 2008 This was a really decent APA, a little more amped up than I was expecting, but that alright with this one you really get a lot of bang for your buck. Matching nose and flavor, with lots of pine and citrus, perhaps a bit of grapefruit in their as well. really nice carbonation, makes this pleaasant to drink. Very easy to drink. SuperDave70 (568), Arizona, USA Jun 18, 2008 Light honey colored clear pour with a good foamy white head. A bit of hops, citrus, pine and malt in the aroma. Similar flavor, starting sweet with a good hoppy finish. Realy good APA. Wish I could get it in a keg! nightrider (219), encinitas, California, USA Jun 15, 2008 Extra light in color but with the perfect white head and lacing as is typical of the Alesmith brews. Citrus and mild pine scents. Sweetness on the front with light hoppines and some carbonation on the finish. Light in body. Great easy to drink pale ale. cale422 (25), Timmonsville, South Carolina, USA Jun 10, 2008 Great brew scene in San Diego and love the Bev Mo stores. Got this brew there. Great hop nose great crystal clarity with tight white foam head. Excellent crisp clean malt/hop balance in the flavor and excellent mouthfeel for type and finish
