doubleo (842), San Diego, California, USA Dec 23, 2007 22oz bomber. Pours a slightly cloudy amber color. Great yellowish white head that settles to be quite frothy and leaves much residue on the glass. Slight smell of hops with quite a bit of citrus. Has an almost spicy citrus taste. Just a little spice in the front with a lingering mellow hop taste. A little tingle and acidity up front on the palate. Lightly coats the mouth and tongue. This is my favorite pale ale. Very drinkable, tasty!
changeup45 (581), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 12, 2008 From Hi-Time Wine Cellars. This looked a lot lighter than I was expecting, pouring a light golden color. A moderate sized head settles to a thin layer with some spotty lacing. The aroma is mostly floral hops with some citrus. The flavor is nicely hopped, crisp bitter hops, citrus and pine notes with doughy malts. Very easy drinking without sacraficing flavor. Good beer. EricE (262), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Oct 12, 2008 Hazy pale yellow with lots of bubbles. A thin fluffy white head on top. Lots of fruity hops on the aroma. Citrus and grapefruit. Also a fair amount of yeast in the aroma. Bitter malt flavor with a strong hop character. Lots of citrus and floral notes. Crisp and easy to drink. Very good. pantanap (793), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 11, 2008 22oz bomber from kegbear i believe.....pours a pale, slightly hazy, yellow with a medum frothy white head.... tropical and citrus hop nose with a little lemon zest.... flavors were of light bitter hops and grassy. dryness cuts through a lot of the flavor. bit of bitterness lingers on the side of the tongue for awhile. expected a little more flavorwise. nqualls (422), Tennessee, USA Oct 3, 2008 Bottle.
