3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark goldish orange with a white head, aroma is a bit odd, smells a bit hoppy with orange and some pine, but there is a lot of buttery caramel notes as well, very different DIPA aroma than what I’m used to. Taste is a bit different as well, sweet orange and caramel up front with a smooth creamy body, then it lingers in the back of your mouth with bitter pine, pretty balanced, but it leans to the sweeter side of a DIPA. pretty good .

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle courtesy of rudolf - thanks! Clear and bright light copper body with a large white head. Big a juicy aroma of tangerine, grapefruit, poached peach, pine, hint of orange blossom honey. Medium-full body, little sticky on the back of the palate. Flavour is big and boisterous and really nice - everything promised in the aroma comes through, along with some lime leaf, a bit of caramel sweetness, and nice lingering notes of grapefruit peel and pine needles. A standard bearer for the style.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 ounce bottle dated 6/4/13 poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a vibrant copper with a thick froth of white foam. The aroma is big grapefruit, pine, and a touch of herbal grassy notes. The taste is on the more herbal bitter side with a caramel backbone coming through. Maybe this bottle isn’t quite as fresh as it should be. Still, this is a pretty good beer.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/4/2013. Pours fairly crystal clear golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange zest, pineapple, floral, pine, grass, bread, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop notes with a moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, lemon zest, tangerine, pineapple, orange zest, floral, grass, pine, bread, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of earthy pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, floral, grass, pine, bread, light caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible balance and complexity of hop flavors; with a moderate malt balance behind the hops and zero cloying bitterness after the finish. Hop flavors are extremely smooth and non-astringent here. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an incredible DIPA style! Big complexity of citrus hop flavors with a moderate malt balance; and extremely smooth and crisp to sip on. A highly enjoyable offering.

Taste are sweet malt backbone upfront, then berry, tangerine, orange, melon and lemon. Alcohol comes in the backend. Palate was smooth creamy smooth CO2 with medium body, then, lasting smooth well balanced finish. A wonderful DIPA, try it u won’t be disappointed.

A great brew. Bottle to tulip. Nose is huge grapefruit and tangerine with some resinous pine notes. Caramel and some sweetness. Flavor is similar. Very balanced sweetness amongst the big citrusy hop flavors. Very nice.

1 pt 6 fl oz bottle. Clear yellow amber colour, white fine foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of orange, grapefruit, resinous hop. Taste is malt caramel balanced against a citrusy hit of orange & grapefruit hoppy bitterness with resin, pine, vanilla, alcohol notes. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, warming dry lingering bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Flavor was a touch like an grapefruit and an orange moving through a pine forest. Nice citrus notes, bitter notes. Alcohol is there. This was pretty good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma of citrus hops, much lighter than I expected but very inviting. Pours a crystal clear orange with a thin white head. Flavour is of light crystal malts a slight sweetness kept in check, maybe too much, by powerful bitter hops. A slight astringentness on the early finish, changing to a perfectly balanced mildly sweet and bitter long finish. Warms the gullet.
