Bottle-poured golden color with huge white head. Aroma-WOW!!, fresh piney hops, its xmas in july! Taste is sweet and spicey. Has lemony/pine up front with excellent sweet malt on palate with mildly biiter finish. Mouthfeel is perfect, smooth with nice carbonation. Overall an excellent beer. Reminds me more of a regular ipa and not a double. Not sure ibu’s but cant be over 100.

It pours golden with a slightly off white head and plenty of lacing. It has stone fruit aromas that feature peach and apricot. There are apricot, peach, caramel, and floral flavors. It has a moderate feel with high bitterness and alcohol warming Overall, the flavors of peach and apricot start off sweet and turn to bitter and is long lasting through the finish.

Trotzdem, cooles Bier. 55DKK für 0,2l. Tap in der MIKKELLER & FRIENDS BAR Kopenhagen.

On tap. Hazy golden color with solid white head. Citrus aroma, some pine. In the taste, first come the citrus, then some malty/caramel touch and some alcohol. Very nice.

Sweet, fruity aroma with some herbal and flower notes and quite a big malty but yet fresh and crisp background. In taste it’s super dry. Has no malty sweetness at all. First punch is herbal, maybe even aniseed. Then has some fruity notes, but still dry, crisp. Almost perfect bitterness in the aftertaste - short, clean; fruity and leafy in the same time. It’s extremely drinkable for an imperial IPA, which is nice, but I also like some body in such a big beer. It definately is an amazing beer in overall.

On tap, 25cL. @Angers, France. @Donald’s pub. A hazy opaque amber beer with a medium white foamy head ; medium retention ; ok lacing. Fruity resinous nose, red berries (blackberry), light caramel, bread, alcohol note. Medium sweet, medium dry bitter warming with fresh episodes ; great balance. Good body, average texture, light oily, average carbonation, fruity resinous finish. Overall, delicious gourmet ! Fruity hoppy, nice body.

Clear deep gold heading to copper. Medium creamy off-white head, decent lace. Big dank tropical aroma, dank aroma, little bit of citrus, finish is heavier on the grapefruit. Excellent west coast double IPA.

Always wanted to try the summer yulesmith. Now that I can get it by this name, it seemed like it would be just another IIPA, but it is better. Appearance is clear, gold, fluffy head, thick retention. Nose is mild tropical and floral. Mouthfeel is soft, lush, low carb feel, and very melony taste which seemed unusual. Then a nice hop dryness. Very well done.
