Bottle. Pours black with a medium beige head. The aroma is coffee, malts, light vanilla and roasted malts. The flavour is very roasted and has a great addition of coffee. Kinda creamy. Pretty one dimesional.

Bottle, 22oz. It pours a clear-looking black body with a small beige head. The aroma has lots of lovely coffee, with some molasses and soy sauce. One dimensional, and that goes for the flavor too. Lots of lovely coffee, with some soy sauce and molasses. Some chocolatey hints, and a nice bitterness. There’s alcohol warmth too, it’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Lasting finish with coffee dominating. Quite lovely this one, although one-dimensional. But as long as the coffee’s really nice, it’s sure a beer worth drinking. 140830

another kinda average coffee stout that really doesnt stand out much in a crowded market of coffee beers.

Bottle yesterday at Church Key, DC. Black. Aroma of sweet bourbon, oak, and roasted malt. The taste adds coffee, raisin, and finishes with the perfect amount of bourbon. Balanced, not over powering at all. Rich, low carb. Basically a perfect bourbon coffee stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
