A highly hopped contemporary India Pale Ale. Brewed with copious amounts of Cascade and Amarillo hops, this IPA is balanced nicely with a strong malt body. A great beer for any occasion. Brewed originally as the beer ration for British troops in India, it was preserved with extra hops and higher alcohol for the long sea voyage. India Pale Ale, IPA as it is usually referred to, has become America’s second most popular microbrewery style. If you enjoy a rich, aggressive hop flavor, this is your ale of choice.

Williamsburg, Va - on tap at the Alewerks Taproom. Hazy, light golden, soft silky snow white head with a nice film of lacing. Touch of spruce in the aroma with a hint of juniper. Solid citrus bent to the flavor, some sweet caramel notes, a touch of passion fruit fruitiness. Decently thick mouthfeel.

Super tropical ipa. Tropical juice, mango, mango, papaya and peach pour out of the bottle. Super fresh and easy to drink. Theres malt only to add balance, not take away from the wonderful hoppyness. Big aroma on this one as well. I really dig this beer. Alewerks makes awesome beer and this is another one of them. Cheers!

Pours a slightly hazy dark gold color. Very faint hop aroma. Starts a bit tart, then heads towards vinegar then quickly turns to an earthy bitterness. Hints of wood in the finish.
