"AleWerks White Ale is a refreshing Witbier style ale made with coriander, orange peel, chamomile, and a special yeast strain. It’s cloudy appearance is imparted by the vast amounts of flaked wheat used. Enjoy with good company!" - Geoff Logan, Brewmaster

Light coriander with some florals. Well done for style. Pours hazy blonde with some sediment chunks. Sweet finish. Tap at jackpot.

This beer is a cloudy yellow-orange color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, wheat and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal wheat, coriander and orange peel. The finish is fruity and wheaty with a short spice aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

12 oz. bottle, from my Summer Secret Santa. Pours a slightly hazy gold, with a medium, off-white head. The aroma is orange juice, biscuit dough, gin, bananas, and ginger. Citrusy sweet, with a light spice. Light to medium body, chewy, slick, and clean. This is a nice, yeasty, wit. Crisp, with a great spiciness.

12 oz. Nearly opaque orange-amber with a lasting ring and spit of cream. Aroma is tangerine, resin and clove. Tastes of orange juice, wheat, coriander, clove and resin. Light-medium body is fairly balanced and has medium carbonation. Pretty good warm weather ale.

Very cloudy hazy yellow.Loads of orange peel and herbs. Pretty yeasty taste, dry, floral and oranges. coriander. hard to rate this one, it’s not revolutionary but it’s alright.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a hazy dark amber color. Not much head is formed apart from a a dinky white-colored film. What little head there is doesn’t retain well, either. Not particularly pleasing aesthetically. S: This one is heavy on the wheat malt, and light on the spices. I also pick up some banana esters alongside touches of orange peel. T: Actually, this might be the best part of the brew. It starts off with some oats and cream, before being overtaken by *very* subtle coriander in the middle. Wheat malts finish it off. Simplistic, but very refreshing. M: Make no doubts, this one is dry. Combined with high (if slightly too coarse) carbonation, it’s superbly drinkable. O: Not very memorable. This is exactly the kind of beer that is moderately enjoyable on a hot day, yet easily forgotten. Probably wouldn’t buy it again myself.

Appearance: thick-seeming, very opaque, orangey-yellow (almost like OJ) with a sad, quickly fading hint of soapy white head and some unappealing floaties. Aroma: Not bad--mango, pineapple, honeyed cereal grain, fruity yeast, banana, coriander, black pepper. Taste: orange, pineapple, coriander, yeast, a bit of ritz crackers and an almost saison-y funk. Finish: very quick, slightly watery finish, with sweet grains the last flavor note. Notes: Aroma is almost like a "tropical" Belgian Witbier/German Hefeweizen hybrid. One of my favorite styles of beer, this one was just average. Not quite as crisp and refreshing as the best in the style; palate could have used more zing and the flavors more freshness.

Bottle->weizen. Slightly hazy gold with fizzy white head, immediately dissipating to a thin foam. A: coriander, clove, pepper, banana. T: citrusy wheat, yeast, spices. Crisp.
