COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Yellowish gold, all clear; little or no head. Chalk and crystal malt, herbal nose. Taste gives cookies, grain and some faint German hops, herbal. If it weren't for the Reinheitsgebot, I'd say corn. Much better bodied than a 'lager' usually is thought of. If "lager" would have been invented in Germany, well, the "style" would be better.

Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, hay - straw, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a peppery finish. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090106]

Bottle. Moderate hoppy, grass and light citrus, light malty. Large white creamy head, very long lasting. Golden body. Light sweet and flowery flavor, rather short duration. Very dry texture, bitter and a medium body. Quite lively carbonation and a light astringent finish.
