3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A nice light ipa. Fruity citrus slightly sweet. Nice balance. Would drink it again. Probably would be a good intro to IPA's for the non-ipa inclined.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It poured a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of malts, hops and citrus. The taste was of malts, citrus, sweetness, some caramel, hops and grass. Tasty.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355 ml bottle bought at YATA in Grand Century Place, Mong Kok during “YATA Oktoberfest” promotion.
Cloudy hazy golden orange colour with thin layer of yeast sediments; One-quarter finger head and soapy off-white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Very good sticky lacing with very slight carbonation; Fragrant and sweet aroma of Ale malt, with mango, strong guava, passion fruits, faint grapefruit, shades of cat piss, nectar, strong molasses, light pine, yeast, very light lemon and light grass; Medium sweet taste of moderate Ale malt, with grapefruit, strong molasses, strong pine and resin,
faint earth, dry biscuits, strong yeast, strong lemon, quite strong bitter hops, and sharp grass; Mid to light body. Oozy and slightly slick palate;
Mouth feel is moderate Ale maltyness, with Simcoe-like hops make a pretty strong citrus and piney impression. Taste not as clean as most American craft IPAs, somewhat muddy actually, but the sweetness, booze level, and oozy piney hops are strong and pretty much on-target. Quite nice!... Hoppiness is Simcoe-like strong guava, mango, passion fruits, nectar and cat piss in nose, grapefruit, strong piney resin and light earth in taste. Bitterness is not too strong, more comparable to British IPAs for a an abrupt, medium astringent finish; Fairly dry after taste. Piney oozy and bitter to mouth.
Comments: This brewery is making steadily decent, if not spectacular, craft brew of different styles, and with this one, you can feel the brewer really put more effort to impress with generous Simcoe for tropical aroma and piney taste. If only it has better maltyness and a bit more boozy, than this one will jump right out of the crowd. A decent buy and worth trying, though.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 330ml. Pours nice orange-bronze color with a small, short lasting white head. Scent of orange, sweet fruits, light caramel malt, slight hops, slight spice. Nice scent, but not that strong. Mouth feel is creamy but light, body is medium and carbonation is gentle. Tastes slightly sweet with present but not assertive bitterness. Very light sourness. Nicely balanced taste-wise. Flavor is light caramel malt, fruity hops, sweet orange, some yeast, light warm spice, a bit of herbal notes. Also some lemony hops and bread. After taste is slightly bitter but with some nice sweet flavors and is slightly sticky. Flavor profile is very nice and is quite light and not assertive, yet has some complexity. It’s is very "friendly" for an IPA, yet just enough bitter and complex too keep things interesting. Very nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330. Thanks, A! Pours a clear medium amber with a loose sudsy tan head. Big marmalade on toast on the nose, lots of tangy sweet orange pith along with toasty biscuit. Creamy medium body with lively carb, quite nice. Mildly toasty biscuity mid palate, great orange pith with mild orange juice on the mid palate. Great herbal hop notes near the finish too. Very convincing british IPA, and worth repeats.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 330ml. Hazy golden with quickly diminishing low off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, a bit cheesy, light malt sweetness, a hint of onion. Nice hoppy bitterness, tropical fruits, grassy, starts with light sweetness and the finish is bitter. Creamy texture, medium carbonation. light to medium body. Bitter aftertaste.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle in Jerusalem. Exp date: 2/2015. Pours a pale golden orange against the light, clear, not a single bubble rising from the bottom of the glass. One finger of white foamy head that dissipates slowly though not completely. Nicely aromatic even if not explosive on the nose -- earthy, peachy, little bit of orange juice, blueberry sweetness, no alcohol. Weird thing about the taste is I always seem to get more of that IPA character when drinking this directly from the bottle. This is the second time I’m drinking it out of a glass, and it’s not impressing. Very minor hop presence and bitterness, sweet and a little salty notes of crackers, vegetables, no alcohol. Warming doesn’t help, the beer remains on the weak side as far as flavor goes. Body is medium, carbonation is average, lacing is okay. Bottom line: exceedingly disappointing for an IPA and not a memorable beer by any means, but with the caveat that this is a go-to beer for me to drink out of the bottle when selection is limited thanks to its rather ubiquitous availability in the country and for some reason better flavor out of the bottle.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours dark copper with a medium frothy head. Aroma is light earthy malts and fruity/citrus hops. Taste is subdued, well balanced with the malt and the hop. Doesn’t overpower with either.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Ottawa Craft Beer Festival. Was told by the pourer, that it had travelled many miles, brought in from Israel itself I believe, for the festival.
A polished copper appearance, with a fairly thick head (he had to let it settle then pour me some more).
Aromas were of citrus hops, some grapefruit, and some definite lemon coming through.
Tastes were a nice transition from a bitter start to a sweeter lighter finish, with a good balance of citrus, and maltiness.
Overall, a hard one to peg as it’s really neither an American West Coast IPA, nor a traditional British one. I welcome it’s uniqueness.
