COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Alexander Green is the second in our series of seasonal beers, a hoppy beer based on the known IPA style but with our Israeli twist. The hops are at the front - starting with a wonderful fruity aroma of grapefruit, guava, mango and other fruits. At the mouth, smooth sweetness and full body balanced by a grapefruit-like long lasting bitter finish.

Bottle thanks to Keren! I perhaps sat on this too long given that it was an IPA :(. My apologies. Pours clear golden with a medium off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is quite malty, corn, grain, caramel, pine. Flavor is the same, medium sweet, light piney bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. I thought this was actually pretty good on its own merits, but I am surprised to (afterwards) realize that it was an IPA.

Huge thanks to Zeev for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, more and more hoppy, mild fruity like lemon. Quite drinkable. Nice one!

Fra flaske på DØE dag 1, mai-16: let uklar kobbergylden med kort skum. En frugtig og balancered, letdrikkelig ipa med tropiske frugter, grapefrugt, mango og et krydderstænk.

On tap at the Ottawa beerfest. My first Israeli beer, imported through the embassy especially for this festival. A copper pour with a film of beige as a head. It has a nice bready lightly hoppy IPA. Silky smooth mouthfeel, almost slick. The taste is bready, sweet, lightly bitter green hop flavor with a bit of fruitiness. Very pleasant but disappointing if you are expecting a west coast IPA. Midway between English & US IPAs. Not bad, a beer for sipping.

12 oz bottle. This has the hop level of a traditional APA and near a contemporary session IPA but has a large load of caramel malts that not only keep the bitterness down to a mild level but leaves a strong taste of caramel lasting all the way through the aftertaste. O: interesting version of an IPA that’s a bit off-style

Pours bronze to orange with a decent head, aroma of fresh lemon, cheese, garlic, mango and apricot, flavor of garlic, malt, pine, with moderate bitterness and relatively low sweetness, well balanced, medium bodied, refreshing and quaffable
