3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not bad, a rounded pale ale style with little definition of hops - more a mild bitterness without much citrus. Sweet malt base and mild-moderate body. Hallertau one is more fun in the ’lightweight’ category.

Bière dorée de 5.5 % d’alcool. Elle possède un odorat amer et fruité et ne possède aucun col au versement. Elle possède un goût amer et métallique en finale. Elle possède un goût de citron et/ou d’agrumes. Rafraîchissante !

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught@Casey’s, Toronto. Amber color, off-white head. Restrained bitterness with fruity notes. Strawberry? Medium-light body, medium-high carbonation. Slightly off balance, but not bad.

I did actually get some faint citrus and a fair amount of orange and then of course a bit of the musty caramel marco smell that I have come to expect. High carbonation, mild body, slighly bitter but goes does somewhat easily with an off taste at the end.

When I popped the top on the Tall Boy the citrus cascade hop aroma was a promising introduction to Alexander Keith’s. Flavor fell short, cereal malts, little in bitterness. Macro beer at best.

Drank at a bachelor party in Montreal. Pretty much an IPA gone bad. Nothing else to write here.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can - 473ml. Limpid amber body with heavy carbonation and a fading white bubbly head. Fresh hoppy aroma with some caramel hints. Its fair hoppy taste lacks, however, complexity and strength. It carries some subtle metallic notes and ends with a short bitter finish. Much better than their so-called "India Pale Ale", but still quite a disappointment for hops lovers.

Can from local iga A: light citrus, a touch of caramel. App: clear copper minimal white head. T/p: med body finishes on lightly bitter note. O: subtle is a fare description. Still no worthy tough.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at a small-town pub with nothing but Keiths and worse. Decided ’what the hell, I’ll give it a try". It was acceptable, which was a bit of a surprise. Good looking clear amber with a 1/2-inch foamy head. Aroma of C-hops, with slight musty and grassy notes. Flavour was fairly light and watery, finishing with some actual hop flavour; finish is sour and bitter with grassy and citrus hops. Thin-bodied, yet smooth and creamy. Won’t bother with it again, but I can’t say I was disappointed.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2014 can. Poured medium amber with a thin white head. Orange citrus aroma with a piney hop base. Medium body, crisp mouthfeel, less bitter than I thought it would have been, finishes quite clean. Caramel malt flavour, a bit graniy with some light grapefruit notes. Very drinkable, I’ll be picking this up again.
