3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
341ml brown bottle. 5.5% abv on the label. Medium gold pour, crystal clear. Small white cap that thins out a bit, a few streaks of lace here and there. Nose has oranges, trace spice and fruitiness. Taste has fruity/orangey hops and some light bready malt. Light bitterness with some orange peel/citrus sticking around. Average mouthfeel and carbonation. Overall a surprisng experience - first that Keith’s is making single hopped beers, and second that I enjoyed this and wouldn’t mind having it again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours nearly clear amber with airy off-white head. Mild but clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of hops and yeast and touches of needles. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of yeast and malt and notes of needles. Rough aftertaste with estery and mildly bitter notes. The best beer of the brewery’s hop series but still far from the ideal.

Can 473ml @ Hotel room, Weber’s, Ann Arbor, MI
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long caramel and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white to light beige head. The aroma is weak, quite malty, with bread and some caramel notes. Fruit caramel orange style too. There should be more bitterness I think, as it’s too bready on the palate, medium to full-bodied and semi-sweet. Some orange zest and a fruit caramel hint as well. Medium length orange and bread finish. A decent beer, but it’s too focused on the malts and not enough on the hops in my opinion. 150615

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
341ml bottle. Pours an attractive clear ruby, with a moderate light beige head, which lasts reasonably well without leaving much lacing. Resiny citrus hops and biscuit malt make for an appealing aroma. Citrus and mild tropical hops up front lead into a decently malty mid-palate, with biscuit and light nutty flavours. More citrus hops give it a nice clean finish. I might be going against the grain here, but I actually found this to be a pretty enjoyable APA.

The beer pours a golden-red colour with a very thin tan coloured ring for a cap. There is definitely the citrusy notes of the cascade hops, as well as some weak caramel notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour doesn’t live up to the aroma. Some weak hoppy grapefruit notes mixed in with the infamous dishsoap notes. Better than their flagship IPA, but still ’crafty’ as opposed to ’craft’

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cannette 473 ml. 5,4%.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A mildly hoppy pale ale that is very clean and well balanced. Definitely shows that Inbev can make a quality hoppy craft beer should they so desire. The question really comes down to will it sell as well as their non-IPA.
Well crafted bee. I would buy this one again.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
