My Bottom Line:
This underhopped Pale Ale Ale pushes forth tame floral and leafy notes atop lean caramel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam floats atop the misty pale amber.
-Bitterness is shallow.
-Execution is not better than that of an average homebrew. Not very impressive for such a huge brewery.
-This may be more flavorful than the average macro brew, but the hop intensity is so mild one wonders why they are trying to make people focus on it.
-Their tv ad is truly gorgeous though, you have to give’em that.

Can.

A mildly hoppy pale ale that is very clean and well balanced. Definitely shows that Inbev can make a quality hoppy craft beer should they so desire. The question really comes down to will it sell as well as their non-IPA. Well crafted bee. I would buy this one again.

Can: dark gold/amber pour with a massive soapy off white head. Aroma is orange, caramel, light pineapple and melon. Flavour is biscuity malt. Light cardboard, candied orange, little bitterness. Started promising but tailed off. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a 16 oz can. Pours a clear orange gold with an off white head. Malty nose. Flavors of juicy fruit gum. Mildly bitter finish.

The cascade aromas are pretty subtle. Taste is a sweet maltiness with pale caramel notes. The hoppiness is earthy and pretty basic. Appearance is a gold with thin frothy head. Lacking on the hoppyiness ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to Sam Adams fancy pint glass, beer pours a transparent dark amber with a white head. Nothing remarkable, and it looks like beer. Aroma is not very intense but carries complexity...caramel, vanilla, lots of floral notes, slight citrus, spices.... Of note though is a faint burnt rubber smell. Taste is decent, good malty backbone with a nice hop flavour and bitterness. It’s pretty subtle. Palate is thin bodied, co2 medium, balanced pretty well. Overall: Impressed, not a bad beer at all. I had no idea this was a big brewery until I researched a bit. Honestly this isn’t bad, could use a bit more hop flavour, but just a bit. Asides from that it’s actually quite nice.

473 ml can from Duty Free, Fort Erie, ONT. A golden amber pour with a billowing, but fast fading, cream head; malty aroma; carmale malt taste with just the faintest trace of Cascade. Disappointing in comparison with the Hallertauer version.

Bottle. I actually somewhat enjoy this beer. I like what they are trying to do, by showcasing different hop types, and they do it pretty well for a big brewery. Taste more like an IPA than the original Keiths. Has a nice floral aroma. It taste of a citrus, floral, bread, but in a much lighter way. It goes down quite smooth with a low bitterness to it. They must be doing this to get macro lager drinkers to try a little flavour for once, and it is not a bad attempt.

33 cl bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada via Costco. Tasted alongside Hallertau and Galaxy. Similar appearance for all three, galaxy perhaps slightly lighter. Aroma is not very distinct, some passion fruit, and a faint resin. Flavour is weak, some bitterness, better than the Hallertau.
