3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Quevillon (2011) - Sainte-Thérèse, - JAN 13, 2006
Je ne l’ai bu qu’une fois à Ottawa, elle est meilleur que la plus connu. Arome légèrement riche, saveur de caramel et de malt un peu roti et un peu amère.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 HeistAlmighty (540) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - AUG 8, 2011
473ml can. Had this one ages ago back in my dorm days. I don’t really remember it all that well, but I do recall only buying one. Mind you, if it had been horrible that would probably stand out, so there we are. Overall, it was unhorrible.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Eructoblaster (2111) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 15, 2005
On tap at Highlander Pub, Ottawa. Dark copper body topped with a thin off-white creamy head. Good malty aroma with notes of roasted cereals and toffee. Decent and well-balanced malty/hoppy taste that ends with a quite short bitter finish.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 hopscotch (7522) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 20, 2005
Can... Surprisingly unhorrible. I really don’t know what to celebrate with a 5% ABV ale, but not at all bad. Pretty darn malty without being too sweet. I wouldn’t buy it again, but I’m glad I did this once. Found the can at a corner market while in Montreal. I didn’t know I could even get this stuff in Quebec.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ddenomme (36) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 30, 2004
I have to go against the group here. I was really surprised how much I liked this ale. Beautiful copper colour and thick creamy head. Flavourful at the first impression, nice feel in the mouth and a good finish. Awfully good and amazingly better than the (OK) Keith’s regular product.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Tessic (631) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 4, 2004
Somewhat thick, off white head. Darker golden colour body. Smells of ale yeast, malt and some kind of metalish scent. The can that I had this beer out of was probably guilty of this. Some sugary corn notes too. The flavour of this was much better than the smell. Slightly watery with hints of maple sugar and more malt. The palate was a little bitter to start and watery to finish. The malts saved it!
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 radiomgb (2078) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 16, 2003
Amber in colour. Slight aroma of malts and tin. Flavour was really light, with a watery sweetness. Not to bad coming from this brewery.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Lubiere (6979) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 11, 2003
Not bad for a Keiths. Nice foamy head. A little bit of hops and a nice malty taste, a bit roasted. Better than Rickard's Dreg!
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 pondoshuffles (141) - Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 8, 2003
This one has a little more hop in the mouth and in the nose. Not a great beer, but the best from this producer.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bgarrigus (36) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 4, 2003
Not much of a head, but not all that bad. Not that good, either, however. Easy drinking, with a good hop nose and taste, but its a bit light on the finish. Not enough oomph. Had at the brewery, on the tour.
