2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
473 mL can to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent paler burnt orange with foamy off-white head. Smells of malt and bitter hops; weak and thin though. Tastes like it smells with an average (at best) mouthfeel. Maybe a touch of toast as well. Not my thing.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Why, said the butterfly as the hop cone was harvested for Mr. Keith. Dark amber, nice head. More Amber malt scent than hops. Amber malt flavour with some adequate hops for that style but plain for an IPA. Better introduction than the basic Keith’s.

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear copper colour with minimal white head.
The aromas I get are barley, grain and hops.
Similar to the aromas, I get mainly barley and grain and I also get just a hint of citrus and hops.
Not bad for something from Keith’s but I’m really not getting a lot of hops from it. I thought the hops would be more noticeable given it is marketed as an IPA.

Gift from a goood friend, thanks Lagerboy.
Clear brass pour, head is extremely thin. Really nothing of note for aroma, maybe some grains and a signature industrial swill overtone. soft on the palate, light on the tongue. I was expecting worse, to be honest, but it still garners nothing in the way of galaxy hops to me. Albeit a superior offering to a regular Keith’s, but to delegate this a "Hop Series" is silly. Im going to call the Halifax Municipal Hall and make sure they are aware of the mockery thats is being produced.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
341 ml bottle. Clear lighter copper, thinner off-white foam mostly fades. Mild tropical fruity aroma. Lightly toasted pale malts with a pleasant albeit light galaxy hop influence. Average carbonation, light bodied, sessional. Was prepared to dis this offering, but it’s really not bad at all... bet if it was blind tasted the ratings would be higher. MLF (More Lagerboy Friendly)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2014-07-20. Crisp dark orange amber body, foamy beige head fades. 3+ Aroma is an interesting mix of hops and malt, biscuiyy sweet malt notes. Lightly fruity hops. Flavour is similar, malty core has biscuity not quite toasty quality to it. Moderate hops throughout, light bitterness and fruit, hints at sweet lemon. Overall impression is on the sweet side with just enough bitterness in the finish to keep if from becoming too much so. Smooth average plus bodied palate, low carbonation. Okay, drinkable but not particularly interesting. Can from the LCBO, Toronto

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can - Light caramel and orange spicy hops. Clear gold with a thin head. Malty and some orange syrupy notes. Decent.
