[6540-20140720] Can. Light grainy leaf aroma. Clear, amber brown body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head and lots of fast big bubbles flowing upwards. Grainy toasted leaf and light seaweed bread flavour. Medium body. Interesting surprise but not sessionable. (6/3/6/3/12) 3.0

Effervescent transparent amber, thin white film, smallest bubbles. High bitterness, papery nose, light orange. Front is straight bitter, empty from high attenuation, paper bitter finish, light toast, heavy oxidation. Nothing badly offensive but errors throughout.

Although the aroma does seem to have some resin, the rest of the hops in the bitterness doesn’t seem to be there.

Can at DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Poured a hazy fizzy yellow color with a small foamy white head. Aroma was caramel, malt, notes of light hops. Flavor was similar. I was really hoping for a nice galaxy character to this, but it was just earthy. What a waste.

Can at the RateBeer DC Tasting. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of malt, caramel, butterscotch. Tastes of malt, caramel, butterscotch. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Where’d the hops go?

16oz tallboy can from Pizz5116. Pours a clear golden orange color with a finger of foamy white heat. Aroma of old citrus fruit, honey, caramel, and hint of licorice. Taste of watered down ipa, graininess, grass, and citrus zest. This beer is a mess!

Can. Pours clear orange with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is earthy, herbal and minty hops with light honey malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness with light malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Even worse than their other single hop stuff. Why bother guys? Really, why? There’s some faint hope of hops bit nothing shocking in this galaxy. Tall can o love

Caramel and toffee coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of earth, caramel, toffee, nuts, alcohol and very little else - not much hops in this one at all. Light-bodied; Slightly nutty flavour with some citrus and a lot of malt with literally, no hops at all. Aftertaste is mild with just malt and alcohol coming through the toffee and nutty bitterness. Overall, this one is just plain bad - no hops, no depth, no complexity and only showing nuts and bitterness from toffee - not pleasant and definitely not worth trying nor returning home with! I sampled this 473 mL can purchased from Au Coin Duluth in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 20-September-2014 for CA$3,19 sampled back at home in the states here in Washington on 02-November-2014.
