Actually, Im not sure its an IPA in the loosest sense. Aroma is fait hops, metallic, and sweet. Taste is sweet, metallic, and grainy. BOdy is sparkling gold, average looking. The pride of Nova Scotia? Right. PrimeMinister (138), Quebec, Canada
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jan 11, 2005 This is as much an IPA as Bush is a peace loving hippy.
The color was very pale gold. The aroma was... well there wasn’t much here. It smelled like chemical waste or garbage or anything uninviting (just like that very annoying old aunt that pinches your cheeks like if you were still 8 years old). It tasted like an old relative also. This means that somewhere behind the vast see of nothingness, I was able to spot a very tiny bit of flavor which proved to be fairly disappointing.
No hops, no malt, no taste= no good. Homebrewerguy (285), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA

This has got to be the WORST excuse for an IPA in the world!! No aroma, no body, no flavor, no hop bitterness. Real beer drinkers beware of this sh--. Mullo (102), Brisbane, Australia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 8, 2005 Updated: May 15, 2005This IPA was my first in Canada. I found it low on aroma - Pity Canadians don’t serve their Ales like the English - might get more aroma, and certainly more flavour with the higher serving temp. Ok appearance, low on the maltiness, slightly dry on the palate, and a mild grassy/flowery hopping. Could be a lot better, and more like an ale. Not too much like a real IPA. icarus (55), The Colony, Texas, USA

| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jan 1, 2005 WARNING: THIS IS NOT IPA. A true IPA needs hop character to be considered an IPA. This is just more piss beer from Labatt. Piss-yellow, soapy head, stinks of corn and rice, tastes like Labatt Blue. Boring. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 27, 2004 Appearance: crystal clear, pale golden color, rather un-IPA-like, topped with a large, lush bone-white head...the latter, however, does not redeem the former, though...
aroma: soft, spare, and slightly soapy, a little floral, and once more, exhibiting no India Pale Ale characteristics...not bad, but not what I’d like when the label clearly says IPA.
Taste: neat, tiny hop introduction, but very minor, showing no fruit, no particular hoppy bit,( can’t imagine what hops were used, maybe a touch of Centennial and a whisper of Columbus?)..very small tastes of citrus and honey mark the flavor best, but it barely has any business on the palate, says hello and leaves...very light in body, flavor, in the memory, etc. Pleasant enough, but extraordinary shy of showing us any real taste, you can drink this pretty well, but it doesn’t tickle me in any fashion, and I can’t get past the mistake of the mislabeling. That’s where the axe will have to fall in my ranking, for it clearly ain’t what it says it is!

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 26, 2004 Yellow, average creamy head. Faint hop aroma, faint hop taste. Mostly a piney cascade. Light flavor, but more balanced IMO than many IPAs. Way better than those with an astringent hop flair. This is very smooth.
