Nova Scotia’s most popular beer, Alexander Keith’s India Pale Ale is fully fermented, mellow-aged for smoothness and uses balanced North American flavour and bittering hops to create a unique, malty flavour. Alexander Keith’s India Pale Ale is smooth with a slightly floral hop character and a sweet flavour delivery.

Light malty aroma. Clear golden colour. Light body with very simple flavour; doesn’t really taste much like an IPA - disappointing, but fine to sip without thought

I had this in Florida. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Taste like a cheap lager, no real hop taste. I would pass on this in the future. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

341 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus with faint hops. Sweet flavour of malt, corn and light hops. Light body with watery texture and soft carbonation.

Bottle to glass, this shit pours a pale greeny yellow with a pathetic white head. Aroma is very faint estery/solvents, grass and cardboard. Taste consists of typical flavours found in mass produced lagers...cardboard, grass, astringent bitterness. Sweet flavour delivery? Fuck no. Palate is thin bodied and carbonation is quite high. Beer water. Overall...if I wanted this kind of crap I would’ve bought budweiser. This is not even close to an IPA, let alone hoppy. Surprising since the other two ales I had from this pack have been quite OK.

Nice pale wheat colour. But watery taste, with a tinge of metallic. Nothing like an IPA. If this is the "pride of Nova Scotia" goodness knows what the other beers there taste like ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I guess how this works is it was marketed as an IPA long before they ever became the way we know them now. Luckily this isn’t what we know has an IPA. Slightly better than most macro lagers, it taste of rotten hay, corn, and dough. It is pretty watery going down and leaves a bad aftertaste, that makes you regret getting it in the first place.

Certainly not the worst beer out there and for the price you aren’t going to find much better.............but regardless it is a bad beer. Weak somewhat sweet aromas and flavors with a forgettable character.

Pours golden with thick white head that dissipates quickly. Very little aroma to speak of, though perhaps a faint hint of yeasty apple juice. Tastes mainly of slightly sour water. The carbonation having dissipated, not really even any bubbles. I grew up on this stuff. Can it really have been this bad?

Not good. Tastes like someone has got a mass produced larger and put some coins in it. Probably not far from the truth. Metallic lager rather than an IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draught in a 16 or 20oz pint glass, at some random bar. Tastes like a generic lager, how is this an IPA?
