Pours an average looking gold with white bubbles. Smells grainy, tastes sort of average as well. Very macro tasting. Goes down smooth mind you.
This is a good beer, but surely not an IPA in my opinion!

Oct 12, 2008 IPA what? This is the most notoriously mislabelled beer in the world. It is regularly sold as a premium here in Ontario, though a blind taste test would make it hard to separate from other commercial macros. Bottle: pours golden, clear with almost no carbonation. The head raced to to disappear. The aroma is sour, faint with some weak citrus. Body is thin. In the flavour, there is bitterness, but it does not taste like hops. Bland.

Oct 11, 2008 If I had rated this beer 8 years ago before I had tasted actual good beer this would have gotten a perfect score. Undergrad in Halifax, anyways. This beer has absolutly no hops falvour compared to real IPA beers, probably why it is so popular. I drink this beer out of sheer nostelgia, because there are many better IPA’s out there, though Canada is Lager dominated so any mainstream ale seems to be different.

Oct 4, 2008 For an IPA it was weak to me, however, for a Pale ale, it was pretty solid. I’d drink more of it if available in the states.

Sep 26, 2008 Ugh. Not the best beer I’ve had in a while. Nothing like a good IPA, little to no hops. A little skunky. Overall just not good.
