Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance had a dulled looking orange color with a half finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. There was barely any lacing. The smell didn’t have much, maybe some light cooked corn. The taste was kinda sweet but still didn’t have really anything to show flavor. On the palate, this one was slightly sessionable if one would want to drink more than one of these. Overall, yes, I like to abuse myself with these Alexander Keith beers, thank God I just got done with my last one of their beers, though some were average, this one just didn’t have anything to it.

Rated on 5-13-2011 (Bottle) This beer has an off-white head with a long retention, transparent yellow body, fizzy carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is malt and grainy. The taste is malt and corn. The mouthfeel is tingly carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is just plain boring. It has next to no flavor and no character.

From notes: Poured bubbly pale amber, with a 2-finger off-white head. Mild aroma of piney hops. Medium-bodied, with a brief finish. Flavor is mild, caramel with a brief note of piney hops.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Smell is malty with a creamy buttery aroma coming through. Taste crisp and easy. Slight hop bitterness mixed with some good malts and grains. Sweet with a pretty clean finish.

bottle - Pours clear yellow-gold, smells of grainy malt, tastes sweet and bland, and is overall just another mediocre beer. It manages to be better than many pale lagers, but that’s faint praise indeed.

Sampled on 3/1/2012. This pale lager pours a fizzy yellow color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized quickly dissipating white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, grainy and sweet. A light to medium bodied Pale Lager. The malts are grainy and cereal. The hops are herbal and spicy. Decent carbonation. Kind of grainy, with some corn and perhaps some rice. There is some residual sweetness at the finish, that’s a little unpleasant. Not totally horrid, but there is not much else here. Hey. I know! Its your typical Euro/Macro Pale Lager! Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

12oz. Bottle: Almost no aroma. Faint grain if anything. Poured amber in color with a small, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of malt, grain, and hops. Light to medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, grain, hop finish.

Overall malty, but skunky. Lightly sweet, but a bit of pine and mint as well. Thin finish with barely any hops that is noticeable.

Pours a clear pale yellow with foamy white head. Aroma typical sweet malt corn aroma with tad bit of floral notes. Flavor has bit more mouthfeel than most lagers - tad bit of bready malts and some additional dryness on backend. overall, a decent lager.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Light amber colored beer with a white head. Aroma of caramel malts and light spice. Taste is sweet - light caramel malts att eh start finishing iwht sweet malts and subtle bitter and grass. Light all around, fitting for a lager. Not bad but a little too sweet.
