1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Lubiere (8245) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 16, 2013
A pale golden cider with a thick collapsing white head. In aroma, weird chemical apples with mineral gyprock qualities, unpleasant. In mouth, a weird mix of malt and apples, boiled veggies, bad.

Pale straw colour. The nose is loaded with green apple and malic acid. Really tart and a little bit candyish. Like drinking apple jolly ranchers - and that’s not a compliment. Gak.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jercraigs (6477) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 1, 2012
2012-06-27. Crisp pale yellow body with a small white froth. Sweet candyish apple aroma, notes of fruity green apple. Much more pleasant than expected. Sweetish flavour, fruity, candy like green apple. Smooth average to light bodied palate. Surprisingly enjoyable but feels very artificial. Can from the LCBO shared by a friend at board games night.

Bottle 355 ml
Aroma fresh, frisky, light rather on sweet yet with true feel apple notes.
Appearance bright golden with fine visible carbonation. Minimal top.2+
Flavor and Palate : medium light bodied. I would not call it thin. Golden apple feel with fruity sweetness. Not very dry for cider. Not bad.

Can. Pale green-tinted yellow, fizzy effervescent head that is gone before the empty can hits the recycling bin. Aroma and flavour is fake apple candy, Jolly Rancher-ish. Disgusting. Makes my teeth ache.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 blankboy (5153) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 19, 2012
Can [473ml]. WTF, Keith’s is making a Cider? Maybe start making one good beer first? Pours a bubbly, very pale gold with a small diminishing fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet pears oddly enough, along with sweet apples and sugar -- basically it smells like candy. Flavour’s a bit better, it’s not as sweet and there’s some tart apple but it’s still candy-like. Light to average bodied. This is a mess, it’s much too sweet and more like an apple candy drink then a Cider.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Boutip (3979) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 5, 2012
Bottle: Poured a super pale yellow color cider with a small bubbly head with loads of bubbles – very strong carbonation. Aroma of sweet apple notes with candy-like notes clearly identifiable. Taste is also very artificial with loads of sweet notes of candy and light apple notes. Very light body with aggressive bubbly carbonation. I am not even sure this qualifies as cider as it is closer to soda.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 GregClow (2736) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 18, 2012
Can from the LCBO. Clear golden-yellow colour with a slight greenish tinge. Aroma of sour apple candy - specifically, this hard candy I used to have as a kid that had fizzy powder inside - can’t remember what it was called, but the aroma of this cider instantly brings it to mind. Flavour isn’t quite so candy-like, and actually has some pretty natural tart apple character at first, although as it warms up, a sticky and unnatural sweetness starts to rear its head. Body is similarly crisp and clean while it cold, but less so once it warms. I understand why they recommend it be served over ice, as temperature plays a big part in the enjoyability. Ultimately, it’s a pretty poor cider, but consider it an "apple flavoured alcoholic beverage", and it’s not a complete disaster.
