16 ounce can courtesy of Kinz at the 19th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering. Ppurs a slightly hazy golden color with a thin head that quickly fades. Aroma of caramel malts, toast, spice. The taste is stone fruits, herbal notes, stone fruits, spice. Thin.

Hazy golden yellow with white foam head. Aroma is malty with spices and citrus. Taste is very refreshing citrus with malty tones. Fresh fruity aftertaste. (Montreal 201210)

Bottle - Grain and sweet citrus on the nose. Hazy yellow with a good persistent head. Weak bread and citrus flavors. No bitterness pretty bland but not bad.

Poured a cloudy golden colour with a white foamy head that faded fast leaving little lacing. Low carbonation. Aroma slightly of grain as well as citrus sweetness. Taste was initially spicy and citrus but that faded and it became fairly flat and a little bland. Light in mouth. Dry and slightly bitter finish.

341ml bottle on a patio, in place of a pint of Blanche de Chambly which probably didn’t help. Hazy golden yellow with a nice white head...sorta stopped being nice at that point. Not much to it (maybe why its served with an orange slice on tap) apart from grains, light caramel and lemon. High carbonation, light body, slightly skunky and sweet taste, get a bit of spice on the finish though.

341ml bottle pours a cloudy pale golden color with a small white head that settles to a thin cap leaving very little lacing on the glass. Aroma is light citrus and mild spices. Taste is light malty sweetness with some light spice and a light citrus hop bitterness. Body is a little bit thin and carbonation barely adequate. Not quite as good as Rickard’s White, which is one of my favorite macro’s.

Medium white head doesn’t last. Hazy nearly opaque yellow body with floaties. Mealy orangey aroma, very bland. Dryish peppery orangey taste with lavender and cinnamon notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish mealy orangey aftertaste with pumpkin spice notes. Nice, and the spice is more subdued than in most US pumpkin beers, but still... too perfumy. (0.341l bottle, CitySuper IFC, Hong Kong.)
