Bottled, from HongKong. Hazy golden, creamy head. Juicy lemon mingles with soap and fruity lager like aroma. Sweet and fruity with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Some wheaty/lemony spicyness, but no bitterness. Reminiscent of the new wave of macro-wheats from InBev breweries in Russia, Ukraine and other eastern European countries.

Hazy blond color. Light apple aroma. Weak beer, with light spices, banana and apple; bitter but weak final. Forgettable.

A hazy godlen ale witj a thick creamy collapsing head. Aroma of citrus and ashy bananas. In mouth, a rather strong adjunct laced malt with light spices, very cloying overall. Can from LCBO, 2.25$.

On Tap at the Irish Embassy Bar & Grill, Toronto 14/11/2010 Some spiced aroma. Golden coloured hazy in appearance and smooth on the palate with a little spicy coriander flavour. Dry and grainy malt finish.

A poor beer and extremely weak representation of the style. Pours light bodied with lots of carbonation, and a bit of retained head. Cheesy aroma, weak mouthfeel with carbonation a bit agressive. I cannot drink much of this and it became a drain pour. Decidedly he worst of the Alexander Keith series.

Bottle stolen from my former lab’s fridge. Pale golden beer. Slightly hazy with a nose that is mostly wheat with just a touch of lemon. Fairly bland brew. It’s more like an american wheat than any real witbier.

2009-03-29. Pale hazy pastel yellow with a small quick white head. Mild aroma, light spicy yeast, mild fruit. Flavour is likewise, roughly bitter up front, harsh spice is not smooth. Sweetish middle, light ginger or coriander lingers in the finish. Average to thin palate. Not awful but not particularly pleasant either. Bit of a muddled overall impression. Looks way better than it tastes. Pours an opaque, golden colour. Mouthful is watery and quite bland, but just drinkable.
