Faint aroma with some malt and distant grassiness. Mouthfeel is pretty watery. The flavour tastes burnt with some pepper, toffee in the malt. Cole (320), , Alberta, Canada

Very crisp and dry mouth feel. The flavors of crystal malt and other toasted malts. Not a bad red. GeneralGao (3081), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Draft. Poured a clear red/dark orange color with an off white head. Smelled of toffee and a whiff of grass. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet. Spicy malt, light raisin, and a bit of toffee came out in the flavor. Not awful. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Updated: Feb 16, 2009473 mL can. Poured a deep ruby red with a 2-finger off-white head that quickly settled but leaving laces leading down from its original mark. The aroma is not too outstanding although sweet malt, caramel, and a subtle hint of honey come through. The taste is a bit sweet for my liking although the crystal malt comes through strongly after the swallow, followed by a very light grapefruit note. There is no noticeable bitterness. I know there are better red / copper beers around. KidVenom (27), Manitoba, Canada

Basically A duplicate of RIckards Red. Again nothing special. A harsh bitterness that doesn’t quit and a serious lack of flavor. A disappointment. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 22, 2009 The fuss should be all about this one and not Keiths IPA which isn’t very good. I was suprised how much I actually enjoyed this. It is a bit watery in comparison to other amber ales though. hobbersr (420), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 16, 2009 Pours a dark ruby red with a very small white head. Aromas are slightly sour (possibly a sour apple), a little bit of run to the mill crystal malt, caramel, wine-esque notes, and a little spice. Flavours are of sour apple, caramel, spice, a little bit of hops, and a touch of crystal malt. Mouth feel is average, very macro brew feel. Better than most Canadian macro, I like this one to watch hockey games at my Coors light guzzling cousin’s house. Good rip off of Rickards Red... Keith’s White next year? I’m going to say most likely. Pyrozoid (352), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
