sinkhole (121), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada May 8, 2007 Draught. Poured copper-red with average carbination. Aromas of caramels. Mild tastes of caramels and malts. A slight malt aftertaste. Overall not bad but it doesn’t stand out either.
semiotic (10), Walton Hills, Ohio, USA Aug 24, 2008 Hey--I’m just rating this beer for what it is...a mass-produced drinkable ale. Compared to others in its class, it’s pretty darn good! More bitter than its Moson counterpart: Rickard’s Red, and tastier, with a lower alcohol content. Roli (286), laval, Quebec, Canada Aug 14, 2008 Bottled. Ok amber ale, not too complex and a lot on the sweet side. Could be a great altenative to other AK beers... but nothing to come back for. kwoeltje (1205), Manchester, Missouri, USA Aug 10, 2008 (can) reddish deep amber with OK off white head. Mild malt aroma. Flavor is caramel malt, slightly sweet. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 7, 2008 Can Beautiful amber color, big head. It has too light aroma, but at least some caramel flavor and a correct bitterness. Simple. edden (907), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA Jul 26, 2008 7/26/08 Caramel nose. Red-brown body. Mild flavor. Slightly sweet finish.
