Draught. Poured copper-red with average carbination. Aromas of caramels. Mild tastes of caramels and malts. A slight malt aftertaste. Overall not bad but it doesn’t stand out either.

Aug 24, 2008 Hey--I’m just rating this beer for what it is...a mass-produced drinkable ale. Compared to others in its class, it’s pretty darn good! More bitter than its Moson counterpart: Rickard’s Red, and tastier, with a lower alcohol content.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottled. Ok amber ale, not too complex and a lot on the sweet side. Could be a great altenative to other AK beers... but nothing to come back for.

Beautiful amber color, big head. It has too light aroma, but at least some caramel flavor and a correct bitterness. Simple.
