matt7215 (629), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Jan 4, 2008 Updated: Mar 14, 2008 473 ml can. pours a nice amber colour with a medium off white head. the description is the last nice thing ill say about this beer. aromas of dish water if you use a scented soap. flavours are thin watery but whats there is offensive and hardly palatable. I dont believe in drain pours but this came close. A horrible mess.

Pretty poor for an amber ale was expecting much more from this one
carruthm (465), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 27, 2008 As with their IPA, it’s a more muted form of the overall style. Just a lite touch of caramel and malts. Nothing offensive. Beershine (1515), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 24, 2008 Draught at a restaurant in Truro. Dark amber-red, cream-colored rocky head and scattered lacing. Nutty aroma, woodsy too. Very grassy. Thin. Clean, though. Somewhat nutty with a mild, sweet but not cloying finish. pacaus (49), Dublin, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 17, 2008 The beer was okay but kind of lacked taste, almost tasted flat although it was just purchased. I would rather have the IPA (Lager taste) than the red amber. lowg (100), Scarborough, Ontario, Canada Sep 1, 2008 Had at my bro’s on Labour day following an afternoon of biking. Nothing special about this one, is looks nice with its copper red colour, but very boring finish. I’m sure at one time this was a great beer, but Labatt probably had this one dumbed down for the masses much like what Molson did with Rickards Red.
