2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at the Red Lion Pub, Waterville, NY USA. First experience with this one, and it will likely be the last. Agree with the previous rater who labeled this "a very boring experience", but must disagree with another who compared this to the much-better Samuel Adams. Had to politely berate the proprietor (a friend) for replacing his keg of Ithaca Cascazilla (IPA) for this swill.

Ive always felt that this beer has been overrated. Its simply lacking in flavour. A very boring experience.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
I had this on tap at one of the few bars in the US that carries it. It tasted like Sam Adams, just without the hoppiness. More golden in color than I originally thought, but very smooth and easy to drink. Its clean finish went very well with my fish fry.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Had this because it was on sale at a local bar since it is from Sydney Crosbys hometown and the Pens game was on. Pours a real nice light brown clear color with some fizzy offwhite head. Aroma is sweet with a bit of damp earthy hops. Flavor is mostly watery, corny, with a tad bit of caramel sweetness. Reminds me very much of Yuengling.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Thank to geth_in_beer for sending this one my way. Pale amber (much darker than their "IPA"). A touch of vienna malt within an industrial macroish malt base. Low bitterness... little flavour. Meh.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
virtually no aroma; pale orange in color with slightly fizzy head. noticable mouthfeel, but little distinguishable hops. overall, not bad for a macro-brewed lager, but will still probably be my first and last bottle.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle (341ml). Shared with blankboy, jerc and mabel - bottle courtesy of J&K. clear light amber pour, small head (3-). Sweet, sort of cloying aroma of apple, sugar and paper. Taste - more paper, less sugar, slightly harsh in the finish. Thin and slightly sticky mouthfeel, some not quite pleasant cheap sugar aftertaste - Ehh.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2009 this is pretty dull taste, kinda metallic brown color with almost no head, Not bad but too simple for my taste

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle (341ml) shared with HogTownHarry, jerc & mabel -- courtesy of jerc. Pours a clear gold with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma: Ugh, not good: Sugary sweet and vegetal along with caramel malt and grain. Watery flavour is slightly better but not by much, dull taste of caramel malt and light grassy hops. Average bodied, oily mouthfeel. Maybe better then Keiths IPA... maybe...but still not good.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
2008-04-18. Golden amber body with a small white head that fades. Aroma has a generic sweetness to it, light graininess. Similarly sweet flavour, light graininess, very light grassy notes. Palate is fuller than I would have expected. Not awful but pretty bland. Much less bad than expected. Bottle courtesy of OKBeer
