The little seals on the bottle cap are an interesting touch. Pours clear yellow with big (ok, giant) head, smells kind of skunky. I'm not a fan of this style - it's probably not as bad for others who like it but the flavor put me off enough so that after about one fourth of it the rest went down the sink.

Pillowy head resting on a crystal gold color. Mild hop and malt smell. The usual Dutch lager flavors.

Excellent light pilsner! I’d never tried this before and was greatly surprised. Sweet nectar in the aroma; superior light malt with subtle yeast. No skunk or inept bitter edge that often aflicts Euro-imports in the USA. Reminiscent of the best Dutch beers in Holand right here in the States.

A good import lager at $5.79 US/6. Malty/yeasty German lager aroma. No skunk despite the green bottle. A little tangy in the finish. Nothing really distinguishing about it, but it did well with beef.

Not a bad beer. Tastes Dutch (if there is such a taste) although it is better than a Heineken. Not overwhelmingly hoppy, and refreshing. Enjoyable, although more expensive than I’d like.

The beer’s packaging certainly looks impressive. Comes in green bottles with a paper “seal” going from the cap to the neck of the bottle. When poured, it has a light yellow body with big creamy-white head. Lots of bubbles rising to the top. Grassy, slightly hoppy smell. Smells slightly better than a Heineken (yeah, it’s a Holland beer). Bit of sugary sweetness on the tongue with a slight hop after taste. Better than a Heine.
