It is a pilsner that’s much like the standard macro pilsners. It has a slightly more interesting flavor. So not bad if you have to choose between a macro and this one.

Comparison test with Jupiler and Dommelsch. All with transparant yellow collor and white head, but Alfa head stays much longer. Jupiler has less sparkles then the other two. Jupiler has a warm smell of caramel and raisins on top of the standard pilsener. Alfa smells a bit more acid, where Dommelsch has less aroma but some slight fruits. Refreshing sweet lemon flavor, with some more malty after-taste. This is more than what I would expect from a pilsener.

Currently I am updating my ratebeer with al the beers I drank but was too lazy to rate at the time. I give the scores I gave back than. If I drink the beers again I might re-rate them.

A typically average pilsener. Very smooth in texture in comparison to its peers but not a lot of taste.

Heerlijk zacht pils. Alfa heeft een heel aparte smaak waar ik erg aan moest wennen maar nu vind ik het heerlijk !

Bottles from Mam and Dad’s holiday, Belgium and One Stop Supermarket, Bidford on Avon. Pale golden in colour with a toffee and malty flavour with slight grassy notes and a sugary sweet bitter finish. Pretty average.

One of the better Dutch pilseners. Still too much sweet malts and too little hops for my taste. I prefer Brand and Hertog Jan.

Wat zoetig pilsener, wel mineralen. Weinig koolzuur. Eigenlijk niet lekker. Is uit blik en tap beter
