Commercial Description:
Since the spring of 1993, the tradition of tenacious brewing has been continued with a new beer – Alfa Lentebok. Like other bock beers, Lentebok is a seasonal beer, and is brewed in limited quantities only. The first hops of the new harvest are used for Alfa Lentebok. It is a real spring beer with a fresh taste. The alcohol percentage is 6.5% by volume. The proper serving temperature is 8/9°C.

Great looking bock. I had a chance trying this at Rate Beer party in Toronto, there was only 1 bottle for all of us but sill I had chance to appreciate this product. It was sweet, malty with nice aftertaste that pleased me. Could be more hopy but still not bad .

RateBeer Summer (Toronto) ’02: Perfumy aroma, clear yellow amber color, good body. Ends a bit acidic. Has an aftertaste that doesn’t quit.

Very much comparable to the HJ Meibock, only difference is that you can taste the pure water of the Alfa source which this beer is made of. This delicious pure taste comes back in all their beers.

Horrible horseblanket aroma. Not as this type of beer should smell. But the rest is ok. Golden/amber color, white frothy head, good lacing. Sweet, light hoppy, soft. Long sweet finish with a little burn.
