3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: APR 4, 2005 Bottle: Malty, raisinny aroma. Sweet, malty taste with caramel, raisin and mango. Slight alcohol burn. Not bad, straightforward beer, a little too sweet.
Tap, Café de Engel Oldenzaal. This beer normally isn’t available on tap, but it should be because it suits the beer well. A bit of malty sweetness. Very malty in fact. Full bodied. Some hopbitterness that coïncides well with the malt and adds some extra depth. 6 3 8 4 13 = 3.4. The above rating is for the bottled version, because that is the normally available version.
