Hopfig-grasiger Geruch, leicht zitronig. Süßlich-heuiger Antrunk. Mittig etwas schal, malzig. Malzstichiger Abgang. Bittert moderat ab. Trinkbar.

Clear orange-golden color. Nice nose, hoppy flavor. Slight alcohol finish. There are better examples of the the Dortmunder style out there.

Clear dark yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma is seriously malty. Taste is malty and quite some carbon gas. Aftertaste is short. Think this beer might taste better when joined with some spicy Indonesion food. (Velp 201307)

Very clear orangish color with a small soapy head. The aroma brings me back to my mgd days as it has a musty basement and wet hay vibe to it. I get alot of wet grass that is stewing in the body and some roastyness.

Douberd (1688) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 28, 2012
Bottle of 300 ml at home. This beer pours a deep golden yellow colour, maybe two tones lighter than of copper.Very thin head, white in colour. Minimal activity in the glass in the form of bubbles. The head disappeared rather quckly. Obvious aroma of malts. The taste is sweet, some citrus in there, with a slight bitter aftertaste. The high alcohol is very nicely hidden. Thick on the body with average carbonation. Overall, quite good.

Watery and deceptive. Never once tastes like the 7,5 % it is until you get up. There is some grass, some fungus. It’s not bad, fit’s into what I know of Dortmunders quite well, I just never liked the slightly thin and watery taste of it. Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht.

Bottle. Malty smell, bitter chocolate - a little bit like a porter... Medium sized white foamy head, good lasting, yellow-orange flat body. Light sweet start, light bitter finish, average duration. Oily texture, light to medium body, soft carbonation. Relatively long lasting. Nice beer with a good alcohol level!

wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 17, 2005
Brassy gold hue with a thin, frothy, white head. Aroma of hay, pilsner malt, honey, fresh cut grass, dust. Moderately sweet flavor becomes a lightly sweet lightly bitter finish. Medium body, sticky texture, livley carbonation.

@Backlog 3.1 Alfa bieren zijn altijd wat smaakvol, orange/gouden met witte kraag, moutig, zoet, karamel, redelijk zoet. redelijke body. iets van vanille

Thanks to B for this one. Smells a lot like grass and corn...?... anyway, smells so sweet. an opaque, but not cloudy golden color. warm alcohol burn to this one. very grainy feel to it, sugary sweet flavors, almost tastes the way warm vanilla sugar bodyu spray smells lol. but with the grass and some malts added in.
