[Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm] Clear golden, dense head. Buttery papery malt aroma. Malt sweet with generous amounts of bready malt and butter. On top of that there’s some grassy hops. An aromatic, very well balanced beer completely relying on it’s excellent malt character.

Cloudy orange-brown color, no lasting head. Malty amber aroma. Tastes like the Caracole Ambree, but a bit weaker, and less balanced. But certainly worth a try.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 bluevegie (2923) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 5, 2006
Clear light orangey golden body with a fairly lasting white head. Sweet aroma, peaches and malt. Mainly the malt characters seem to show first in the taste, body is fairly well rounded, hint of hops on the finish, couldn’t tell the alcohol was as high as it was. Enjoyable!
