COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Alfa Hellenic Beer is a lager beer, with 5% alcohol content with it’s authentic Greek name and origin, that make it more familiar to Greeks and non-Greeks around the world. It is refreshing, easy to drink and brings to ones memory the authentic taste of Greece! Alfa’s unique light gold color and rich foam is the ultimate pleasure-maker. It is made of high quality natural ingredients (water, barley malt, hops and yeast) and its packaging is distinctive, with the bottle being a more modern version of the original Alfa bottle.

Green bottle, 500ml, Crete. Pours medium yellow with no head. Scent is very light grassy lager yeast. Taste is light sweet lager malt and yeast. Finish is dry and plain. One of the worst beers I’ve tasted.

On tap in Athens. Golden fizzy body with a white head that had poor retention. Malt forward aroma and balanced flavor. Light hoppy aftertaste.

Pale lager from a can, don't know the looks. Aroma is sweet malty and grassy, somewhat earthy and unpleasant. Taste is malty, sweet, earthy, somehow off. leaves an unpleasant taste in your mouth. Finishes quick with no bitterness. Gahh baaaaaad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, bought in Kalavrita. Pours clear, golden, with little white head, quickly disappearing. Aroma of grass, hay, metallic. Tastes sweet, malty, bitter finish. One of the better Greek beers.

Imported from old beer-rating-app. I had this beer draught during my greece holidays on a small island near Rhodos. Ok It had about 40 degrees Celsius and I was very thirsty after a longer boat trip, but I remember it as extremely drinkable and refreshing. Much better as the other greek beers I have tasted, ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours yellow with a decent, white head. Aroma is maltiness, light grass. Taste is along the same lines. Pretty decent for this kind of beer.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with an average white frothy head. It has a mild malty aroma with some grainy notes present as well. Taste is slightly sweet with a decent bitterness in the body. Dry finish. Crisp and refreshing, not bad but nothing special.

Can 0,33L. Courtesy of Kita. Clear, pale golden colour with small, creamy white head and almost no visible carbonation. Sweety aroma of biscuits, honey and bready malts. Taste is light bitter and grassy. Medium body, dry texture and soft carbonation. Typical lager, but better than I expected to be.
