1.4 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 beerledgend (1050) - Waterloo, Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 7, 2004
Clar gold colour with big fluffy head. No aroma, sweet malty sugar water. If I was in Greece i’d probably just stick to the oozo, as this beer is bad.

Bottle. Appearance was a white head with sparse lacing, transparent, carbonation, and a yellow hue. Could smell the skunkiness when the bottle was opened. Aroma was also malty. Flavor was sweet, malty and some hops. Tingly mouthfeel and somewhat dry. Light bodied beer. Not recommended.

500 mL bottle, somewhere under the Acropolis: clear yellow colour with a airy, straw aroma. Bubbly head. Thin, watery palate and slightly off flavours, though it was hard to notice while sitting on the rooftop sampling wonderful Greek food and staring at a building that is thousands of years old. Amazing that the Greeks have done some many amazing things, yet never figured out beer…
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Sigmund (3709) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - OCT 8, 2004
(Draught at Iolida Village, Agia Marina, Crete, Greece.) "Neutral", unremarkable pale lager. Unoffensive. The beer was cold, I was thirsty, it did the trick.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Steib (613) - Queen Creek, Arizona, USA - SEP 9, 2004
Pale malty aroma. Thin metallic watery flavor. The taste has reminants of a light beer. Ends with a dry somewhat hoppy finnish. Definitley not a "A" beer, more like a d minus.

Bottled(500ml). -had this one in some bar on Monastiraki with great view on Acropolis, quite good and refreshing beer, clean and light with minimal flavor and aroma, hoppy finish

Not my favorite Greek, but a pretty good one. Nicely balanced aroma. very dry initial taste, but becomes thin and watery in its aftertaste.

Draft on a cafe patio in Santorini. Golden and clear with a creamy white head that left great lacing. The location and appearance were the best part of this brew. Clean and light with minimal flavor and aroma. Light body and pleasant carbonation. Refreshing as a break from a warm afternoon doing that tourist thang.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 DougShoemaker (3149) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 24, 2004
Metalic aroma, pale yellow, short lived white head. Doesn’t taste as good as it smells, though it is metalic and corn syrup flavoured! Grainy, thin. Poor.
