1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
(Grill restaurant, Athens)
Pale-lager look, no real head.
Generic light-lager aroma, no hops or malts. (4-)
Nothing objectionable in the taste, just pale lager mehness.
This does have a bit of light malts at least.
Maybe a little fruity later, but I could be trying too hard to get
Unusually, Phil did not share this.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A 500ml bottle in Athens. Nice golden colour, little head. Aroma normal pale lager, bit corny, hint of citrus. Somewhat rich, warm, toasty malt flavour, hint of toffee, grassy, slightly bitter/salty finish. Maybe I’m overrating it due to happy memories of drinking it in Greece and Albania, but really not bad for its type.

from a green bottle. Had that aged noble hops aroma, you know a little like cabbage. Looks quite friendly yellah in my mug. good fresh initial flavors of amicable lager. not bad, pretty friendly. easy. enjoyable overall beer experiences. no bad feelings on the finish. Things are getting better around here. Just barely enough hop presence to minimize ill hop effects. Seriously, this is one good crisp pale lager.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A somewhat-interesting pale lager, nothing stands out about this beer except its Greek origin and a surprisingly sweet almost fruity taste. Kinda like a Stella Artois with less hops and more sweetness. Standard pale mild aroma and appearance, clean aftertaste. Nice change-up courtesy of the local Greek festival

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is an example of a beer designed perfectly for its environment - a hot Athens evening. Drinkers experiencing the beer in damp or colder countries- beware, it is not recommended for these places as most of the refreshing and cooling qualities will be lost.
This is an absolutely delicious and refreshing beer popular among local Greeks and German/Dutch tourists. The beer manages to quench thirst as well as refresh your taste buds with hints of apple and hops. One of the best pale lagers around and real pleasure giver in a hot climate.

Gedronken op een feestje, van de tap. Getapt door dutchdrebus. Geel goudkleurig, witte schuimkraag, ruikt en smaakt als een normale pilsner alleen net wat meer mout.

Can brought back from Greece by friends to help me inch towards my 1000th. Could just about pick up some grassy hops in the aroma, although I suspect the fact I’ve got a cold may have improved this one. Head gone in no time. Corny, boiled vegetables but some pleasant sweetness, a bit of grassy hop and at least it isn’t overcarbonated. Certainly not ’the ultimate pleasure maker’ but it’s a drinkable lager anyway.
