bottle. Poured a clear, very light amber with a thin white head. Typical lager nose with a bit of grassiness. Taste was fairly standard for a lager with some grass although it was sweet. Mouthfeel was medium-to-thin and watery. So-so.

A golden beer with 2 inches of dense white foam. Smells like sugar, and corn syrup. Tastes like adjunct grains and some pungeant, bitter hops on the finish. Overwhemingly sweet, like a soda, not beer.

EithCubes (5247) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 21, 2008
Green-glassed bottle. Artificial, cloying aroma, hard to stomach at times, reminds also of the laundry room where the cat food was kept in the guest family’s house. Golden body, clear with a dense and gleaming white head. Taste is gratingly, glaringly sweet, cloying and nearly undrinkable, with hay, honey, and lost of harsh graininess. Touch of corn. Lingers on the lighter side of medium. Really only bearable when you get to drinking it quickly, and even then the aftertaste is a mess.

Bottle at peculiar pub. Bought exclusively because i’ve never had ale from Greece. It was a poor offering for its style.

Bottle pours yellow and fizzy, the aroma is bready. The beer does not have much carbonation and starts a bit sweet and has a bland finish with a touch of sour.
