1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
On draught at the Red Rose, Lindos, Rhodes, Greece. A passable drink with no inhesrent distinction. Think a slightly tastier Budwesier. Suited to warmer climes perhaps.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle sampled on 6/15/07: Pours a transparent fizzy golden with a thin wispy white head. Standard pale lager aroma has a touch of floral noble hops. Body is fairly thin and lightly sweet with a decent bitter balance. Fairly refreshing but not much more than that.

Tasted 2007-08-18. Canned. Clear yellow. White head. I guess you can enjoy this cold, if you’re thursty and don’t have water; No particular off flavours. Well almost no flavours at all. The only positive thing I have left to say about this beer is, that it is in fact - a beer! I give it 8 in overall grade as a thank you for the times it has quenched my thurst in the hot greek weather. Enjoy!

Athens, 07. This one also quite popular in Greece. It is just another forgettable mass-produced tasteless lager.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
bottle - Pours clear gold with a moderate head. The aroma is light corn malts. The flavor is more of the same with some light hops presence that comes through mostly in the finish. It’s thin and a little watery, though I’ve had worse.

At last the elusive Alfa, supplier of half the menu boards in Greece. Green, white and gold tin. Pours quite rockily. White sugar and metal. Bile and copper. Unconvincing chemical bitterness. But much nicer on tap.

Atenas, quarter of Plaka. It seems the Heineken - it only knew later that it is produced by the Heineken. Watery. .................................................. bairro de Plaka, buteco da esquina. Parece a Heineken - por sinal, soube só depois que é produzida pela Heineken. 1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
A pale yellow, fizzy beer with a weak white head. Some citrus fruit aroma in an otherwise non-descript nose. The taste isn’t much better. A fizzy mouthfeel, with a dry taste, some citrus fruit flavour, hoppy, but becomes malty and cloying the warmer the beer gets. The finish is malty and cloying. (Draught - Restaurant Dimitria, Faliraki, Greece).

All round pretty awful but have had worst. Everything about this beer talks of cheap grain grain and grain. Corny and cheap.
