1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 yngwie (9175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 26, 2007
Can. (assuming this is the same as Adlerbrau, the brewery is the same, and the other ratings makes it look the same.) Clear, a bit pale, golden with a decent off-white head. Malt, grain and fruity notes in the aroma. Malt, grain and some hops in the flavor, which in a strange way is unpleasant. Thin body and a pilsner-like finish. Decent color, that’s it. (070207)
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Papsoe (22946) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 27, 2005
UPDATED: MAR 15, 2008 (Bottle 100 cl) This is NOT similar to the "Alhambra Negra". This is a "Cerveza Tipo Pilsen" - a pilsener not a dunkel. Fully golden pilsener with a pretty decent head. Pronounced hops in both nose and aroma - all the way through actually. Slightly sweetish and watery. Not a very harmonious beer. Apparently Alhambra has had quite a dispute with Heineken over this beer, see link: http://www.foodanddrinkeurope.com/news/news-ng.asp 100404
