FunkyBrewster (1517) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 18, 2008
Pours a light straw golden color with a small white head. Malty and crispy with a some buttery notes. Tiny hint of hops and fruitiness. Mildly fruity start with a strong malt backbone. Crispy and slightly tart before a bitter but smooth finish. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation. Better than other light lagers and much smoother but still bland and bodiless.

Izio (71) - GERMANY - NOV 11, 2009
Dark yellow color, white head (medium lasting), good carbonation. Aroma: hoppy, malt, honey. Flavor: sweet, some metallic, light / not very fine bitterness. Body was ok. Better than other spanish lagers, but still nothing special. 330 ml bottle in supermarkt in Valencia.

drpimento (2098) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 16, 2008
Poured with a white head and a bit of lace. Clear golden yellow color, medium size bubbles. Had a malty, grassy, grainy, a tad bitter, and a hint of butterscotch. Flavor was about the same. Not bad beer. Decent body. Good finish. Could drink more of these. Had it at Cubanitas Restaurant in Milwaukee last night.

LooseCannon (938) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - JUN 30, 2008
330ml bottle. Labeled as Alhambra Premium Lager. Pours clear golden in color with thin white head. Aroma and taste of malt and grain with clean finish. Drinkable Pale Lager, nothing to write home about.

unclemattie (4032) - Georgia, USA - JAN 11, 2009
33cl bottle. Clear golden pour, bleached white foamy head, decent lace. buttery, white oak aroma. Plain, pale lager flavor. Sweet malt, very insignificant presance of medicinal hop flavoring. Not a great lager, better than some others. When in Spain, I guess?

dionysus (1449) - Arizona, USA - MAR 26, 2010
Bottle pours light gold with a soapy white head that actually leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is sweet corn, grassy hops, paper, and slightly metallic. Flavor shows the same, but strangely enough there is some alcohol presence on the finish. Overall body is light, moderately sweet, and finish is lightly bitter.

troopie (2292) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - AUG 5, 2010
Bottle from an Asian grocery. Poured Pale yellow with thick fast dissipating white head. Faint grassy aroma, and as the beer warmed the aroma did not get any more noticeable. Light lagerish flavour, crisp and clean, but not impressing. Almost no finish. This is just another 1-2-3 macro lager, maybe better than some.

FlacoAlto (3737) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - OCT 7, 2010
A fresh bottle from the distributor, Sampled at 1702, Tucson; April 2010,br> This beer pours into my glass with a brilliantly clear, light cider-yellow color. It is topped by a fizzy white head that quickly disappears. The beer smells more like cider to me than anything, but also has some nuttiness to it as well as a touch of grain.

Interestingly enough this tastes of toasted nuts underneath a more omnipresent cider like flavor. Perhaps a touch of cardboard is found here and the beer is lightly sweet which is somewhat offset by the fizzy, light texture. Some green acetaldehyde is also found here. This is certainly a beer meant to be drunken ice cold; this is a touch on the warm side, so it is not crisp and refreshing and instead has too much flavor for a beer of this type.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - MAR 24, 2007
Bottle. Pours a surpisingly lush dark gold, with a nice head of off-white and intricate lacing. Smells of watered down vegetable juice and government-issue honey. Flavor is a spikey rush of artificial sweetener and corn, with a slight floral finish. Watery mouthfeel. I guess this would be okay to drink if I was IN Spain, but I’m in Houston so it doesn’t work for me right now.

luckygirl (1223) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 27, 2007
Bottled. Beer is clear, light copper-gold. Head is initially larger-than-average, frothy, white. Diminishes quickly leaving chunks of lacing on the glass.
The aroma is malty with trace notes of husky toasted grain; Hoppy with trace notes of wild flower; Intermittent trace buttery note—maybe diacetyl.
The flavor is light-to-moderately sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic with short, lightly bitter, lightly sweet finish. Some grassy metallic in the retros.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is fizzy.
Unengaging.
