UPDATED: MAR 27, 2007 Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is trace hops (herbs), lightly malty (grain/cereal, husks), with a note of soap. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Grainy, industrial, blah.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Dark straw to light golden in color. Taller, foamy white head. Certainly skunk or actually closer to fox scent. Hints of grain and herbal hops. Sweet chalky flavors with quite some amount of floral hops. Somewhat watery in feel. Sort of sugary and syrupy flavors at time along with the grain and husky. Some hints of alcohol Mid to late quaff drag this one down further.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours clear yellow with some fizzy whiteness that quickly dissapears. Aroma a tad bit sweet and a tad bit grassy. Flavor is typical watery sweet malts and corniness though there is definitely something else, almost chemical tasting in there. Not bad, but probably wouldn’t buy again due to the extra off taste.

On tap at Tenerife, served ice cold. Pale golden colour, creamy white head. Very moderate aroma, a little malts, citrus and a hint of vomit. "Neutral" pale lager flavour, nothing offensive but not much to make you happy either, some weak hops in the finish.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Another pale lager to add to my list. Served in a bottle at Don Quijote’s restaurant in Valparaiso. Straw colored, had sort of a sweetness to it that made it unique. It is what it is.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma - is like our domestics, somewhat grassy and cheap hops.
Appearance - clean and clear golden color, very thin white head that quickly disappears to nothing
Taste - is kind of boring a little stale hop and cheap malt, boring but not off putting.
Palate - thin, light, and fades quick. The flavor it does leave is a classic beer hall pitcher splitter
First beer from Spain, not wowed, but it is what it is. It's just a session, good time beer for hot climates.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Bottle @ Minneapolis Beer Fest. This is pretty much terrible - just corn, grass, and some malt on nose and taste. Bleh.

1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bought in Casablanca, Morocco, under the name of "Alhambra Premium Lager". This implies that I have forgotten, or somehow misunderstood, what the word "premium" means. Looks all right, tastes of water and vaguely metallic. Utterly forgettable, but at least it avoids the defects of other beers I’ve had in Morocco.
