2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Very dark brown with a beige head. Aromas are dry coffee maltrs with chocolate and metal. Fairly hoppy. Flavours are grain with chocolate. Lightly roasted malts. Some sweet mollasses with metal. Pretty mundane.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Interesting that my bottle called this a dark lager. Pretty nice, with some wheat hints. Not quite a czech dunkel, but pretty good for my first beer from Spain.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bitter without much flavor after the first pop. I’ve had better in this category. I would rate this as average.

2.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle, 33cl. Pours with a short and quickly disappearing head. Colour ramarkably close to many stouts. Roasted barley aroma, very good one indeed. However the taste is a big disappointment. After lingering on the tongue for only about a second it leaves with a short but very bitter, burnt aftertaste.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
I don’t know why, but for some reason I love this beer. It brings back great memories of being in Tapas bars in Spain with my friends. I’m hoping to bring some more back on my next trip in June, but I really really would love to fine it here.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle (from Bitter Virtue). No head and flat appearance. Lagery feel - in fact other than colour not too different from a pale lager with just a touch of almost sweet charred flavours.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at Plain Kitchen, Göteborg.
Dark brown colour, very dark. Ugly white, cottony head with small bubbles. Very nice aroma - malty with a chocolatey, slight caramelly, ozon-like appearance. Flavour is almost nothing: tiny tiny notes of choclate and licorice. Ia it mûnchener malt that gives the spitzy feeling in flavour? There is a little bitterness.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fairly light bodied with a nice head that disspates quickly. This beer is atypical black lager. It has some roasted notes and some chocolate flavors. A somewhat sweet lingering finish

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer is a great pour; nice sized off-white head on top of a dark brown, almost opaque body. Slightly cloudy. Not a strong aroma, mostly hops/malt (beer aroma). Very watery on the palate, but this is complimented with bitterness on the finish. It rolls off very nicely. This is a very drinkable dark beer.
